We rejoice with you in the privilege of leading an evangelistic group, for it is a high calling to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that Christ commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). We lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to grant you the wisdom that comes from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17).
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You fill our brother with Your Holy Spirit, that he may lead with wisdom, humility, and boldness. May he be a role model for the brothers and sisters in Christ, walking in integrity, love, and obedience to Your Word. Grant him the words to speak, the actions to take, and the discernment to know Your will in every situation. May his life reflect the light of Christ, drawing others to salvation and sanctification.
Lord, we pray that You would protect him from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to discourage, distract, and divide. Strengthen him in times of weariness, and remind him that his labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). May he find his strength in You, for You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Equip him with the full armor of God, that he may stand firm against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
We also pray for the members of the evangelistic group. May they grow in unity, love, and purpose as they serve You together. Raise up laborers among them, filled with Your Spirit, to go out and share the good news of Jesus Christ with boldness and compassion. May Your Word not return void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
Lastly, we ask that You would continue to mold and shape our brother into the image of Christ. May he decrease so that You may increase in his life and ministry (John 3:30). May his leadership be marked by servanthood, just as Jesus came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45). We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we commit this ministry into Your hands, knowing that You will complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).
In all things, may Your name be glorified, and may the lost be found, the broken healed, and the captives set free through the power of the gospel. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
