Beloved of All
๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of Glorious Inheritance and the Surpassing Greatness of His Power, Eph 1:15-23, "For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all those God has Made Holy, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you in my praying: 17 'That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a Spirit of Wisdom and of Revelation in the true knowledge of Himself. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so you will know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in those who have been sanctified, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accord with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He exerted in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, in this age and in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way,'" Eph 1:15-23. Thank You in Jesus' Name

We join you wholeheartedly in this glorious prayer from Eph 1:15-23 and we thank God for your hunger to know Him more deeply, for this is the very heart of eternal life itself.

We love how you have prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can boldly come before the throne of grace. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you are praying according to His will.

We give thanks for you and we pray together that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might, Eph 1:17-19.

We are encouraged that you desire true knowledge of God, not just knowledge about Him. The Lord desires this intimate knowing for all His children, as He says, Let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth, Jer 9:24. This wisdom is a gift He delights to give to those who ask, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5.

We pray that your heart will be enlightened to grasp these three great realities Paul prayed for. First, the hope of His calling, that you would know the confident assurance and eternal future to which He has called you, a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1 Pet 1:3. Second, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, that you would understand how precious you and all His holy people are to Him as His treasured inheritance. And third, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, the same mighty power which He worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, Eph 1:20, now at work within you to will and to do and to overcome.

We also pray as Paul prayed in Col 1:9 that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, and that you may know His love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God, Eph 3:19.

Father, we come together in Jesus' name and we thank You for this dear one who hungers to know You. We ask You, Father of glory, to pour out upon them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Yourself. Open the eyes of their heart, enlighten them with Your light, that they may see and know with certainty the hope to which You have called them, the glorious riches of Your inheritance in Your people, and the immeasurable greatness of Your resurrection power at work in them who believe. Draw them deeper into Your Word, keep them abiding in Christ, and make Your presence and Your will unmistakably clear to them. Cause them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18, and to walk worthy of You, fully pleasing You and bearing fruit in every good work. We thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Eph 3:20. We trust You to answer this prayer for Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We love the hunger behind your prayer. Asking for wisdom and revelation to truly know Him, and to understand the hope of His calling and the greatness of His power, shows a heart that wants more than information, you want relationship.

We join you in that. God is not distant or unknowable. He has made Himself known and He invites us to know Him personally, to walk with Him day by day and learn His character. That kind of knowing grows over time as we spend time with Him, listen, and let Him shape how we see ourselves and our future in Him.

One gentle way to stay in this prayer is to carry one phrase from it with you each day this week. In a quiet moment, pray it back to God in your own words and notice what He brings to mind about who He is and who you are in Christ. No pressure to feel something dramatic, just a steady turning toward Him.

Father, we thank You for our friend and for the faith and love You have already placed in their heart. We ask You to give a deeper spirit of wisdom and revelation to know You more clearly, to see the hope You have called them to, the richness of belonging to You, and the power You work in those who believe. Draw them closer to Jesus and keep their heart enlightened and at peace as they seek You. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer is one which the Holy Spirit Himself has taught us to pray, and we do most gladly join our supplications with yours before the throne of God and of the Lamb.

The apostle ceases not to give thanks for those who have faith in the Lord Jesus and love toward all the saints, and his petition is that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the true knowledge of Himself. This is true wisdom, not policy nor craft, but that wisdom which comes from trusting in the Lord, for he that trusts in the Lord, happy is he. Go, then, to the Wise One for wisdom, go to this Book for the Light of God, go to the Holy Spirit Himself for Divine instruction, for Christ personally is the power of God and the wisdom of God, and Christ in the heart is both power and wisdom to them that believe.

We pray with you that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling. There is a hope laid up for you which shall not make ashamed, a good hope through grace, which purifies the soul and sustains it in trial. Though you may have no hope in yourself, there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior, and that hope is sure and steadfast because Christ is seated at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion.

We pray also that you may know the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. This inheritance is exceedingly broad, a Covenant inheritance which God has prepared for His people. It is life and peace and joy in Christ, fellowship with the Father and with the Church of the firstborn, and God All Sufficient Himself is our heritage to fill our deepest need and highest aspiration. Many a child of God goes fretting when he might rejoice, only because he knows not what God has provided for him. May you take possession of your possession and live upon these things, being established therein and not moved from the hope of your calling.

And we pray that you may know what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of the strength of His might which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead. This is power with God, not of ourselves but by reason of that which is in God through Jesus Christ our Lord. He who has power with God must be safe, for if God is for us, who can be against us. The Lamb is upon the throne, co equal and co eternal with the Father, and all power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth, and He has put all things in subjection under His feet and given Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all.

May the Lord fulfill these true sayings of God in your experience, that being justified by faith you may have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and that you may grow in the knowledge of God until your joy is full. We commend you to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we ask all in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is made of God unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks for you upon hearing this request, as the Apostle gave thanks when he heard of faith in the Lord Jesus and love for all the saints, and we make mention of you in prayer.

We pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Himself, and that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened. For this knowledge does not come from human wisdom or reasoning, but from the Holy Spirit who alone can strengthen you to apprehend what God has prepared and to stand firm.

We ask that you may know clearly the three things Paul prayed for. First, the hope of His calling, that you would see the certainty and greatness of what God has called you to, a deliverance from judgment, a baptism into forgiveness, and a living hope that does not disappoint. Second, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, that you would understand the depth of the riches of His wisdom and grace, and the inheritance of the kingdom He has promised to those who are made holy in Christ. Third, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, the same mighty strength which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, both in this age and in the age to come.

God has put all things in subjection under the feet of Christ and has given Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Therefore you can have confidence, for the One who purged our sins and now sits at the right hand of the Majesty on high is your head, and His power is at work in you.

We pray that this knowledge will not remain only in words, but will lead you to walk in obedience and holiness, leaving behind what hinders and following Him with a ready mind. May the Lord grant you to know His love in its breadth and length and height and depth, and to be strengthened in your inner being by His Spirit for all that lies ahead. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thank you for sharing this prayer from Ephesians 1. It is a beautiful and deeply biblical request, and it is right in line with what God desires to give to His people.

The heart of what you are asking for is an unveiling of Jesus Christ Himself. The Scriptures show that Jesus is the faithful witness of what God is. If you want to know what God is like, you look at Jesus. In the beginning the Word was with God and the Word was God, and that same Word became flesh. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, one with the Father. So a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of God is not mere information about God, it is seeing Christ more clearly as He is, the firstborn from the dead and the living hope of eternal life.

Paul prayed that the eyes of the heart would be enlightened to know three things, and you have asked for the same.

First, the hope of His calling. God created us for fellowship with Himself, for His own pleasure and purpose. His calling looks forward, to being with Him forever, to overcoming and standing in His presence. That hope steadies us now because we know where He is leading us.

Second, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. This is a wonderful truth that God Himself values you. You are His inheritance. Just as John was shown the throne of God in heaven with the living creatures crying holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come, and the elders responding that He is worthy to receive glory and honor and power because He created all things, so we learn that you were created and redeemed to belong to Him. To know how much He treasures His own people changes how you see yourself.

Third, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. This is the same mighty strength that God exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named both now and forever. He has put all things under Christ's feet and given Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body. That resurrection power is not distant. It is directed toward you who trust in Him. The Lamb who was slain is now worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing, and that same power is at work in your life to keep you, to change you, and to bring you home.

I join you in this prayer. May the Father of glory give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Him more truly, may He enlighten the eyes of your heart to know the hope to which He has called you, the richness of being His own treasured inheritance, and the greatness of His power that raised Jesus and seats Him above all things. May you grow in seeing Jesus clearly and in resting in His finished work, and may that knowledge fill you with thanksgiving and peace in Jesus' name.
