🙇🏻 Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of Glorious Inheritance and the Surpassing Greatness of His Power, Eph 1:15-23, "For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all those God has Made Holy, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you in my praying: 17 'That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a Spirit of Wisdom and of Revelation in the true knowledge of Himself. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so you will know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in those who have been sanctified, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accord with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He exerted in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, in this age and in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way,'" Eph 1:15-23.

We lift our hearts in praise and thanksgiving for your earnest desire to seek the wisdom, revelation, and power of God as outlined in Ephesians 1:15-23. This passage is a profound reminder of the spiritual riches we have in Christ Jesus, and we join you in praying for deeper understanding and experience of these truths.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, and we ask that You would grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Yourself. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. This power is the same might that You exerted when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. We declare that Christ is the head over all things for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Father, we recognize that true wisdom and revelation come only through Your Spirit and by the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We confess that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and it is only through Him that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. We pray that You would draw us closer to You, that we may walk in the fullness of Your calling and live lives that reflect Your glory.

We also pray for those who may be seeking You but have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. Lord, soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they come to know You as their Lord and Savior, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Let them experience the hope, the inheritance, and the power that come only through faith in Christ.

For those of us who already know You, Father, we ask that You would deepen our understanding of the hope to which You have called us. Help us to grasp the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and to walk in the power that raised Christ from the dead. May we live as people who are truly alive in Christ, dead to sin but alive to God (Romans 6:11). Let us not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

We rebuke any spirit of complacency, doubt, or unbelief that would seek to hinder us from walking in the fullness of what You have for us. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and we stand firm in the truth that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39).

Lord, we also pray for unity in the body of Christ. May we, as Your church, reflect the love and oneness that You desire for us, so that the world may know that You sent Jesus and have loved us even as You have loved Him (John 17:23). Let us be a light in this dark world, pointing others to the hope and salvation found only in Christ.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). May we walk in the wisdom, revelation, and power that You so graciously provide, all for Your glory and honor. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. That longing to know God more truly, to see more clearly the hope He has called you to and the greatness of His power at work in you, is such a good and honest desire, and we are grateful you shared it.

We join you in asking for that kind of seeing. The wisdom you are asking for is not just learning more about God, but knowing Him with the eyes of the heart. God delights to give that as we seek Him, and He often does it quietly over time as He shapes our character and draws us closer. Hope in Him is not wishful thinking. It steadies us when life feels hard or confusing and anchors us to who He is, even when we cannot see the whole path ahead. We do not want to pretend the Christian life will be easy, but He is faithful to form hope in us as we walk with Him.

One simple way to keep pressing in this week might be to take the same passage you prayed and turn it into your own prayer each morning, phrase by phrase, pausing to listen after each line. Notice what the Spirit highlights that day and carry that one thought with you.

Father, we bring our friend before You and ask You to give a spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing You more deeply. Enlighten the eyes of their heart to grasp Your hope, the riches of belonging to You, and Your power at work in those who believe. Draw them close and make Yourself known in fresh and personal ways. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How sweet and scriptural is the petition you have laid upon our hearts, and we do not cease to give thanks for you as we make mention of you in our prayers.

You ask for that which the apostle himself asked for the saints at Ephesus, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Him, that the eyes of your heart being enlightened you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe.

We join our supplications to yours that you may find all wisdom in Christ, for He is the wisdom of God and the power of God. There is no true knowledge of the Father but by Him who is the Word that was with God and was God, and who took our nature to bring us nigh. The mountains of sin and the gulf of wrath are removed in Him, and now through His blood we are made nigh and may know God indeed. Pray that you may be taught by Him who is the wisdom of God, for they that wait at the posts of His doors shall find life and obtain favour of the Lord.

We pray also that you may know the hope of His calling with a hope that makes not ashamed. Such hope rests not upon any confidence in yourself, for there is no hope in the creature, but upon the solemn promises of God confirmed in the Person and work of His dear Son. When that hope is shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost, it breeds inward joy, so that a man may hear music at midnight, for his hope of glory shall never fail him because of the great love of God which he has tasted. Experience itself then works hope, and that hope is bright because it has for its main support the love of God.

And we pray that you may know the riches of the glory of His inheritance in those who have been sanctified, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of the strength of His might which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power. That same power which raised Christ and set Him as Head over all things to the church, which is His body, is toward you if you are in Him by faith. It is a glorious gospel that reveals such power and such grace, and every attribute of Deity is manifested in it with unrivalled splendour.

May the Lord therefore grant you to trust in Him with all your heart, for he that trusts in the Lord, happy is he. May He turn every ray of possible hope into an actual and good hope through believing in Jesus Christ, and may you be conformed more and more to the image of His Son, speaking truth because God is true, and walking in love because God is love, till you are raised up in newness of life to enjoy the blessings which that glorious gospel brings.

We commend you to Him who died and lives forevermore, in whom the atonement is complete and plenteous pardon is found, praying that you may have a fuller revelation of His love and a deeper delight in Him, which is the earnest of endless joy. Amen.

I have received your request and I give thanks with you for the faith that God has worked in you and for your love toward all who belong to Him. Like the apostle, I do not cease to remember you in prayer, and I join my prayer to his that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Himself.

This wisdom is not the wisdom of this world, which cannot know God by its own strength, but the wisdom which God gives through His Spirit and which is found in Christ Himself, who has been made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification. Apart from Him we cannot see as we ought, for we need the eyes of our heart to be enlightened by Him.

So I pray that your inner eyes may be enlightened to know three things which Paul sets before us. First, the hope of His calling, that you may see clearly the sure and living hope to which He has called you in Christ and not be shaken by trials or by empty reasonings. Second, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, that you may understand how precious you are to Him and what an inheritance He has prepared and is preparing in those He has made holy. Third, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, the same working of the strength of His might which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and gave Him as head over all things to the church.

There is no other way to be strengthened for this knowledge except by the Holy Spirit, who alone can make us strong to apprehend the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of God and to remain unshaken. Therefore I ask that God would strengthen you by His might through His Spirit, that you may grow in the true knowledge of Him, walk worthy of His calling, and live in the confidence of His power which is already at work in you who believe.

May the Lord grant you this increasing sight, keep you in faith and love, and cause you to know more and more the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Your prayer for wisdom and revelation to truly know God is exactly what Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus, and it is a wonderful request to bring before the Lord. I join you in asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Himself, and that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened.

To know God is to look at Jesus. He is the faithful witness of what God is like. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus Himself said He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, just as God is, showing that He and the Father are one. When you see Jesus, you see the Father. That is the revelation God has given to His servants, the unveiling of His Son, who is the firstborn from the dead and the source of our hope of eternal life.

I pray you will come to know in a deeper way the three things Paul mentions. First, the hope of His calling. God created you for fellowship with Himself, to bring Him pleasure through a loving relationship, and He has called you with a holy and certain hope that looks beyond this life. Second, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. That speaks of how much God values you. You are His inheritance, precious in His sight. Third, the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. It is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named both in this age and in the age to come.

That power is not distant. The One who sits on the throne, whom the living creatures worship day and night saying Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come, is the eternal I AM, outside of time, yet He has drawn near to you through Jesus. Through Christ the way is open for you to come directly to God, to worship Him in spirit and in truth wherever you are, because Jesus removed the separation.

May the Lord fill your heart with the assurance of His love and His goodness, for it is His goodness that draws us to Him. May He make His calling clear and give you peace as He opens doors before you and closes others, guiding you according to His wisdom. And may you rest in the knowledge that all things are under Christ's feet, and He who is head over all things loves you and will keep you as His own.
