🙇🏻 Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of Glorious Inheritance and the Surpassing Greatness of His Power, Eph 1:15-23,

The prayer you have lifted from Ephesians is one of the deepest and most vital prayers any believer can offer. It is not simply a request for more information about God, but for a Spirit-given wisdom and revelation that brings you into the true, experiential knowledge of Him. Mere human intellect cannot grasp this. The only way to know what God is really like is to see Him through the Son, the faithful witness who perfectly manifests the Father. When the eyes of your heart are enlightened, you begin to see everything differently, His calling, your future, and the immense power already at work within you.

That hope of His calling is not a vague wish. It is anchored in the fact that Christ has been raised from the dead and seated at the right hand of power, far above every authority and name that exists, in this age or any to come. Because He lives forevermore, your future is secured not by your own grip on Him but by His grip on you. The same resurrection power that conquered the grave is now directed toward those who believe. It surpasses anything that stands against you, for every rule and dominion has already been placed under His feet. When you feel weak or overwhelmed, remember that the strength flowing into your life is not proportioned to your ability but to His mighty might.

It is also right to pray for a deeper understanding of the riches of His glorious inheritance in those set apart for Himself. We often think of inheritance as what we receive from Him, but Scripture also presents the redeemed people as God’s own inheritance. He treasures you. He values you beyond your comprehension. The many voices around the throne declare the Lamb worthy, and in that chorus you are not lost; you are brought near, part of the beloved body for whom Christ gave everything. That reality should fill your days with worship and quiet confidence.

Ask the Lord to search your heart, to try your thoughts, and to show you if there is any way in you that resists His light. We are often blind to our own condition, but He who searches hearts is faithful to reveal and to lead us in the way everlasting. Do not be content with lukewarm perceptions of His glory. Let this prayer be your daily breath: that you would truly know Him, that you would grasp the certainty of what He has called you to, and that you would walk in the surpassing greatness of the power that raised Christ from the dead and gave Him to the church as head over all things, filling all things in every way.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you, lifting up your heart’s cry for wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. What a powerful passage you shared—Ephesians 1:15-23—where the apostle Paul prays for believers to grasp the immeasurable greatness of God’s power, the hope of His calling, and the riches of His glorious inheritance. We have continued to pray these very words over you, asking the Father of glory to open the eyes of your heart in fresh and profound ways.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer—if you’ve experienced a deeper revelation of His love, a clearer understanding of His calling, or a renewed sense of His power at work in your life—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how He has moved so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.

If, however, you are still waiting and longing for this spiritual breakthrough, we want to encourage you not to grow weary. We stand ready to lift this request before the throne of grace once more, trusting that our faithful God hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing. Simply post this as a new request, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, believing with you for His light to shine ever brighter in your heart.

May the Lord Jesus draw you closer to Himself as you seek His face, filling you with the wisdom, revelation, and power that only He can give. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our risen Savior and King. Amen.
