Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer request carries the very heartbeat of what Paul yearned for the believers in Ephesus, and what God still delights to give. When you ask for wisdom and revelation in knowing Him, you are not seeking scraps from the table; you are reaching for the full banquet. That spirit of wisdom is not a mere accumulation of facts. It is an unveiling, the same kind of inner shining that turns the words on a page into a living encounter with Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness of all the Father is, and to know Him is to know the One who said, “I am that I am”, the eternal God who never steps out of the present tense. He holds the future as clearly as the past, and He gives His servants what they need to see things that must come to pass.
I pray with you that the eyes of your heart will be flooded with light so that you grasp the hope of His calling. That hope is not wishful thinking. It is the steady, immovable expectation that you will share in the life of the age to come, because the same power that raised Christ from the dead is already at work toward you who believe. That surpassingly great power seated Jesus far above every rule and authority, not only in this age but in the one to come. Everything has been placed under His feet, and He fills His body, the church, with His own fullness. So when you feel small or overwhelmed, remember that the inheritance is not about your strength; it is about the measureless might that conquered the grave and set Christ at God’s right hand.
You are part of that inheritance. The riches He is storing up are not cold jewels in a vault; they are the saints themselves, purchased by His blood. Right now the Holy Spirit is the down payment, the earnest, guaranteeing the full redemption to come. He is the seal that God means to complete what He started. That is why the cherubim and elders in the throne room never tire of declaring, “Worthy is the Lamb.” They see the whole picture: creation, redemption, and the new Jerusalem coming down from heaven. One day you will stand with them, your name written upon you by God Himself, a new name tied to an eternal purpose that outshines every trial.
Until then, let this wisdom and revelation reshape how you walk. The wisdom from above will guide you to worship in spirit and in truth wherever you are, to wait on God’s timing as He opens and closes doors, and to live in the confidence that His judgments are always righteous and true, even when the world is full of suffering. You need not force your way into the future. Keep asking, keep believing, and let the Holy Spirit flood your heart with the light of these realities. As you do, you will know more than facts; you will know the Father of glory Himself.
