It is better than rubies and better than wealth, and all that can be desired cannot be compared to it. Knowledge gives facts, but wisdom knows how to use them well, and when there is a choice between the two, it is better to choose wisdom.
There is a wisdom that is earthly and leads to envy and strife, but the wisdom that comes from above is pure and peaceable and produces good fruit in a life. That is the wisdom we are asking God to give you now. He by wisdom founded the earth and by understanding established the heavens, and He is able to establish your steps and your words.
