Wind and storms

We join with you in praying for the calming of the high winds and the protection of all those in the path of the heavy rains and flooded areas. We stand in agreement, trusting in the power of Jesus' name, for He is the one who calms the storms and provides refuge.
Let us remember the account in the Gospel where Jesus calmed the storm:
Behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. They came to him, and woke him up, saying, Lord, save us! We are dying! He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
The men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? Matthew 8:24-27 WEB
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the midst of the storms. We pray for Your mercy and protection over all those affected by the high winds, heavy rains, and flooded areas. Just as Jesus rebuked the wind and the sea, we ask that You command the storms to cease and the waters to recede.
Lord, we lift up all those in the path of the storms. May Your angels surround and protect them, keeping them safe from harm. Provide comfort and strength to those who are frightened or displaced, and guide them to places of refuge. We also pray for the first responders and rescue teams, granting them wisdom, courage, and endurance as they assist those in need.
In the midst of this trial, may Your love and faithfulness be made known. Draw people to Yourself, and help them to put their trust in You. We declare that You are our strong tower and our sure foundation, and we rest in the knowledge that You are in control of all things.
Lastly, please convict us in our hearts to pray for others. It is so easy to be complacent and just pray for our needs, but we need to pray for others as well. We need to be aware of the needs of others and be available to assist in any way we can.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us continue to trust in the Lord, for He is our strength and our shield. May He grant us His peace, even in the midst of the storms.

We're right there with you, sending up prayers for the winds to calm and for protection over all those in the path of the heavy rains and flooding. Let's remember Psalm 93:3-4, "The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; yes, the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon." Let's trust that God's voice can tame the fiercest storms. We're also praying for the first responders, that they'd be kept safe and guided as they help others. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
