We have heard your burden for your wife and we stand with you in prayer for her healing and strength, honoring your marriage which God has ordained as a holy covenant between a man and a woman, and we count it a privilege to lift her up before the throne of grace together in Jesus name.

Our hearts are moved by her suffering with stage 4 lung cancer in her right lung and emphysema in her left lung, and her weakness in the hospital and her need for her oxygen and sats levels to improve so she may return home. We know that our God is the Lord who heals us as it is written I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3. We cling to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15 and that He will restore health and heal wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember the word of the Lord about the faith you mentioned, that if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed you will tell this mountain Move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you Matthew 17:20, and we ask God to strengthen your faith even as small as a mustard seed.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling upon the name of Jesus and believing that God raised Him from the dead that we are saved and that our prayers are heard Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your complete trust in Jesus Christ not only as healer but as Savior and Lord.

We now pray together for your dear wife. Father in heaven we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved wife and daughter to You. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon her lungs, upon the cancer in her right lung and the emphysema in her left. Lord we ask You to breathe life into her body, to improve her oxygen and sats levels and bring them back to normal according to Your perfect will. We pray You would strengthen her in her weakness, for You have said Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, yes I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Grant wisdom to her doctors and nurses and peace to her heart and to her husband as he watches over her. If it be Your will Father allow her to be stable enough to return home by Tuesday, but above all let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in her life, whether through complete healing on this earth or through Your sustaining grace. We command in the name of Jesus that this mountain of illness be uprooted and cast into the sea, yet we submit all to Your sovereign goodness and mercy. Comfort this husband and fill him with Your peace that passes all understanding and help him to rest in Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6, and to keep praying without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Keep reading His word and speaking His promises over your wife, and keep seeking Him together. We are praying that God will manifest His healing power and His presence in that hospital room, and that whether He brings immediate restoration or walks with you through a longer valley, you will know that He is near to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that He will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5. We stand with you in faith and love.

Thank you for sharing this with us and for the love you show for your wife. Watching her so weak in the hospital while you wait for oxygen numbers to improve is heavy, and we can hear how much you want her home and comfortable.

We are standing with you in prayer for her strength and for peace for you both in these days. It is understandable to feel helpless when so much depends on levels and tests you cannot control. Please keep close to her care team, ask them what would help her be most comfortable and what Tuesday would require, and let them know how she is doing hour by hour. They are the best ones to guide her breathing support right now.

If you can, let someone from family or church help with the practical things, like meals, rides, or sitting with her so you can rest a little. You need strength too, and you do not have to carry this alone.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this wife to You and her husband who loves her. Give her rest and strength, ease her breathing, and give wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for her. Comfort them both with Your nearness and guide each step ahead according to Your will. Amen.

Your request concerning your dear wife has been heard with much tenderness, and we carry it with you to the throne of grace. To see one so near and dear brought very low, weak in body, labouring for breath, is a trial that cuts deep, and we sorrow with you in it.

We join our faith with yours and pray the Lord to lay His healing hand upon her. May the great Physician, who has all power in heaven and earth, be gracious to her in her hospital bed. We ask that He would strengthen her frame, sustain her lungs, and cause her oxygen levels and sats to rise and return to a steadier and more normal measure. If it be His merciful will, may she be so restored as to be allowed home on Tuesday, and may every breath she draws be a witness to His sustaining power. Yet above all we pray, Thy will be done, for His wisdom is perfect and His love does not fail.

You speak of a mustard seed of faith that would command mountains to be uprooted and cast into the sea. Hear the word of our Lord, Have faith in God. Faith, even as a grain of mustard seed, is precious in His sight, for it is not the strength of our faith that saves and heals, but the strength of that gracious hand which is stretched out to catch us when we sink. Little faith, when it finds itself in trouble, betakes itself to prayer, and cries, Lord, save me. That cry He never despises. He sees faith, though we cannot, and where He sees it, though it be but as smoking flax, He will not quench it. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and as you hear Christ set forth as able to save and able to heal, may your faith be increased. Pray as the apostles prayed, Lord, increase our faith, and He will add to what He has already given.

Remember also that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. All strength apart from God is but derived strength and must soon fail, but when the human is linked with the Divine by an act of faith, strength is renewed. He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning and your salvation in the time of trouble.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. The most humble and most timid faith in Him will save, for these healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Come to Him with the maimed hand of your faith, just as you are, for He who is God can certainly heal you. Pardon and healing flow from the same pierced hand, and many a child of God when weary has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy.

So we pray for her soul as well as her body, that she may know the forgiveness of sins in Christ and the peace that comes from trusting Him. May she be strengthened with strength in the Lord, strong in faith, believing the promise intensely and finding it to be matter of fact to her soul. May you both be kept in perfect peace as you look to Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this dear wife and daughter of affliction. Thou knowest her frame, Thou numberest her breaths, and not one is drawn without Thee. Lay Thy hand upon her right lung and upon her left, ease her breathing, strengthen her weakness, and restore her oxygen in Thy mercy. Spare her yet a little, if it please Thee, and bring her home to those who love her. And whether Thou raisest her up or keepest her in the valley, let her feel Thee near, forgiven, upheld, and kept by that love which cast Thy Son to Calvary for sinners. Give to her husband faith, patience, and renewed strength as he waits upon Thee. Hear our prayer for Jesus sake. Amen.
