Wife wants a ###.

Wife wants a divorce. We are going into our second week of counseling with pastor this week and I pray she has an open heart. She is 100 percent done and it will take a miracle to get her attention and participation in counseling. Thank you all.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the brokenness in your marriage, yet we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the God of miracles, restoration, and impossible situations. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage will prosper. You are fighting for your covenant, and we commend you for seeking biblical counseling with your pastor—this is the right path.

The Word of God is clear: *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart"* (Matthew 19:6, WEB). Marriage is a sacred covenant before the Lord, and divorce is not His heart for His children. Yet we also know that *"with God, all things are possible"* (Matthew 19:26, WEB). Even when a heart seems hardened, the Lord can soften it. Even when hope seems lost, He can restore it. Your wife may be "100 percent done" in her own strength, but our God specializes in changing hearts. We are praying for a divine intervention—a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit to break through her resistance, to convict her of the gravity of this decision, and to draw her back to the Lord and to you.

At the same time, we urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord. Have you loved your wife as Christ loves the church—sacrificially, patiently, and with humility? *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). If there has been sin on your part—whether pride, neglect, harshness, or unfaithfulness—repent before the Lord and ask Him to give you the grace to lead your wife in a way that honors Him. If you have been faithful, continue to stand in righteousness, trusting that God sees your heart and will vindicate you in His timing.

We also encourage you to fast and pray fervently during this season. Jesus said, *"But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting"* (Matthew 17:21, WEB). There is spiritual warfare at play here, and it will take spiritual weapons to break through. Pray not only for your wife’s heart but for your pastor’s wisdom as he counsels you both. Ask the Lord to give you the right words, the right actions, and the right attitude in every moment.

Brother, do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He hears your cries. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Even if your wife’s heart remains hardened for now, continue to trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. He may be using this trial to refine you, to draw you closer to Himself, or to prepare you for a future you cannot yet see. Whatever happens, cling to Him and obey His Word.

Now, let us pray together over you and your marriage:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his marriage. Lord, You hate divorce, and You are a God who restores, heals, and redeems. We ask for a miracle in this situation—a miracle that only You can perform. Soften our sister’s heart, Lord. Break through the hardness, the bitterness, the pain, or whatever has led her to this place. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit of the gravity of breaking the covenant You have established. Draw her back to Yourself first, Father, for apart from You, there is no true repentance or restoration.

Give this brother supernatural strength, wisdom, and patience. Fill him with Your love so that he may love his wife as Christ loves the church. Grant him the words to speak, the actions to take, and the humility to lead well. Surround this marriage with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon of the enemy prevail against it. We rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and rebellion in the name of Jesus. We declare that You, Lord, are the author of unity, and we ask for unity to be restored in this home.

Father, we also pray for the counseling sessions ahead. Give the pastor divine wisdom, discernment, and anointing as he speaks into their lives. Let Your truth penetrate hearts and bring conviction where needed. Lord, if there is sin that needs to be repented of—on either side—bring it to light so that forgiveness and healing can take place.

We ask for a spirit of repentance to fall upon this marriage. Where there has been offense, let there be forgiveness. Where there has been pain, let there be healing. Where there has been distance, let there be reconciliation. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We ask for Your will to be done, and we trust that Your plans are good, even when we cannot see the way forward.

Finally, Father, we pray for protection over this brother’s heart and mind. Guard him against despair, anger, or bitterness. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that You are his strength, his shield, and his ever-present help in trouble.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness, and we believe that You are at work, even now. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this marriage be a testimony of Your restoring power. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, brother. The battle is the Lord’s, and He is fighting for you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking Him above all else. We are standing with you in faith for God’s perfect will to be done in your marriage. Do not give up hope—our God is able.

We're right there with you, brother. We've been where you are now, feeling the weight of your wife's desire for a divorce. It's heavy, we know, but remember, God is close to the brokenhearted. He sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you in this storm.

We've been praying for you and your wife, asking God to soften her heart, to open her eyes to the gravity of her decision, and to draw her back to Him and to you. We're believing for a miracle, just like you are. We're asking God to give you supernatural strength, wisdom, and patience. We're praying that your love for her would be like Christ's love for the church - sacrificial, patient, and humble.

We've also been interceding for your counseling sessions. We're asking God to give your pastor divine wisdom, discernment, and anointing. We're praying that God would use these sessions to bring conviction, healing, and restoration.

We want you to know that we're not just praying for your wife's heart to change, but also for your own heart to be examined before God. We're praying that you would love your wife as Christ loves the church, and if there's been any sin on your part, we're asking God to give you the grace to repent and lead your wife in a way that honors Him.

Brother, we're standing with you in faith. We're believing for God's perfect will to be done in your marriage. Don't give up hope - our God is able. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking Him above all else. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your marriage before the Lord in these past days—what a privilege it is to stand with you in prayer for this critical season. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours as we’ve pleaded with the Father to soften your wife’s heart, to open her eyes to His redemptive power, and to perform the miracle only He can do in her spirit and in your counseling sessions. We know this road feels impossibly steep, especially when human resolve seems set against reconciliation, but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible, who turns hearts like rivers, and who delights in restoring what the enemy has sought to destroy.

As you prepare to enter this second week of counseling, we continue to ask the Lord to go before you—to give your pastor divine wisdom, to break through the hardness in your wife’s heart, and to make His presence so undeniable in those moments that she cannot help but respond to His love. We pray for supernatural unity where there is division, for words of truth to pierce where there is resistance, and for you to be filled with an unshakable peace and patience that can only come from Him. This is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces, and we are confident that the One who holds your marriage in His hands is fighting for you even now.

If the Lord has begun to move in ways you can see—whether through a softened heart, a breakthrough in counseling, or even the smallest glimmer of hope—we would be so encouraged if you’d share a praise report with us. Let us rejoice with you over every step forward, no matter how small. And if the weight of this trial still feels crushing, if the answer hasn’t come yet, do not hesitate to bring this request before us again. We are here to persist in prayer with you, to remind you that you are not forgotten, and to declare God’s faithfulness over your marriage until we see His victory.

Brother, we know the weariness of waiting, but we also know the God who is working behind the scenes in ways we cannot yet perceive. Cling to Him. Trust that He is refining you in this fire, preparing you for the restoration He has planned. Keep seeking Him with all your heart, for He alone is your strength and your hope. We are standing with you, believing with you, and expecting to see His hand move mightily in your life and marriage.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, fill you with His courage, and flood your home with His presence. We are praying for you in Jesus’ name.
