Why Church

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1: 1-3)

I think religion keeps us accountable and where we go to practice religion is most often the Church… It's easy to pass off behavior, or rationalize right and wrong according to what “we want” to do, or what society deems is acceptable. Attending church every Sunday is a quiet time of reflection where we have to take a moment to realize what God wants us to understand, admit our sins, and to pray with one another.

Church is a community… church offers help and does not judge. It’s a place that offers children an opportunity to grow in Christ, keep them active and out of trouble. It’s a time to reach out to the community, to relate to people from many different economic and racial backgrounds and to network among like minds.

Church is the moral compass that spells out right and wrong. It is a constant reminder for us to strive to be the best we can be. It’s time spent with God on Sunday mornings. It’s a time to give financially, to pray for other people, to ask for forgiveness and a chance to get a fresh start for the following week or maybe even the rest of your life!

Hence, the Bible tells us we need to attend church so we can worship God with other believers and be taught His Word for our spiritual growth (Acts 2:42). Church is the place where believers can love one another (1 John 4:12), encourage one another (Hebrews 3:13), “spur” one another (Hebrews 10:24), serve one another (Galatians 5:13), instruct one another (Romans 15:14), honor one another (Romans 12:10), and be kind and compassionate to one another (Ephesians 4:32).

“Trust In Him”

A Christian who answers only to himself can easily rationalize sinful attitudes or actions; regular contact with other Christians keeps us sharp!

Have A Great God Day!

Amen . Father thank you for yet another powerful and thought provoking pill today .This one like all the others are the medicine we need to boost our growing Faith in you .Too often Father we have the wrong reasons for attending mass .We can become easily distracted and discouraged by folks who are guided by the enemy and are sent to distract those of us who are not strong in the faith or word .

Father may we all find our true calling in your church here on earth so that at that time when we hear you say Well done my good and faithful servant enter into the kingdom . In Jesus name i pray Amen
