Sometimes I have situations{and I guess some of you have , too}where someone asks me to do something for them that actually ENABLES them in their sin, and I don't think it goes under the heading of "helping" them.Like, I've had people who were maybe a little under the weather and asked me to get them cigarettes.I've even had a neighbor hooked on drugs whose car was in the shop and wanted me to take him to his dealer to get his "fix",or lend him money to get the drugs!!I had women who asked me to mail something supporting abortion. Now the question is,although we're supposed to "help", define help.If we're making it easier for them to engage in a certain sin,is that really helping them? And is it good for us, spiritually, to assist them in their sin?I say, although we "help" I don't think that making it easier to participate in a certain sin is "helping " them, or our spiritual walk.Wouldn't it be better to pray them out of it?What if the Rapture is after the Tribulation, and an old neighbor who gave up their drivers license asks us to take them to the center to get the mark of the beast? Is that "helping" them? I say we use judgement.Does "helping" someone mean we're obligated to assist someone in their sin?I say no, but you say?
