When we shouldn't "help" someone

Sometimes I have situations{and I guess some of you have , too}where someone asks me to do something for them that actually ENABLES them in their sin, and I don't think it goes under the heading of "helping" them.Like, I've had people who were maybe a little under the weather and asked me to get them cigarettes.I've even had a neighbor hooked on drugs whose car was in the shop and wanted me to take him to his dealer to get his "fix",or lend him money to get the drugs!!I had women who asked me to mail something supporting abortion. Now the question is,although we're supposed to "help", define help.If we're making it easier for them to engage in a certain sin,is that really helping them? And is it good for us, spiritually, to assist them in their sin?I say, although we "help" I don't think that making it easier to participate in a certain sin is "helping " them, or our spiritual walk.Wouldn't it be better to pray them out of it?What if the Rapture is after the Tribulation, and an old neighbor who gave up their drivers license asks us to take them to the center to get the mark of the beast? Is that "helping" them? I say we use judgement.Does "helping" someone mean we're obligated to assist someone in their sin?I say no, but you say?

You can always share Jesus with everyone Steven! You can always give someone a sandwich or a glass of water or milk or take them to dinner. You can always pay for someone's rent etc but pay the actual bill. We don't ever need to give someone cash and we don't ever need to give someone a ride without charging them.

How many times do you need to post this exact same thing?

If you know that someone is going to get the mark of the beast then just say no but if they are paying you for a ride what difference does it make what they may or may not be doing?

People ask me for rides all the time but I need someone to sign a job sheet / contract & they have to be 18 or older. I also have commercial insurance which means I'm supposed to be paid for a ride plus I don't tell anyone that I own the vehicles, it's none of their business & if I want to I can say I'm busy or I don't have time, my clients are going to need the space etc, etc, etc.

I'm sorry, I could get fired for giving you a free ride by whoever you are working for. You don't have to make yourself look like a bad guy Steven, even if you are self employed, you still work for a great many people / clients and you still work for God. You could even say do you take credit cards, I'm not to carry cash, no one needs to know that they can rob you :)

We can always say, I work for my Father and I don't think He would appreciate that and I don't want to put myself under that predicament! Jesus is our Father, our boss, our provider etc etc etc

Not what I meant.I mean if someone asks you to do something that assists them in a sin{even in your own time,}like lend them money to get drugs, or see a sprit medium, does "helping" mean we should assist them in their wrongdoing, like make it easier for them to commit the sin?I would think we should use judgement. If a married guy asks you to tell his mistress that his wife isn't home, come up and have sex{adultery}, "helping" someone with those kind of requests, isn't that making it easier for them to sin?I say, use wisdom.

I thought I have shared with you many times how to get out of that! Didn't I say you don't ever have to give someone cash?

Do you even carry cash? Shouldn't your answer always be, I'm not supposed to carry cash to prevent yourself from getting robbed?

If your not supposed to carry cash then how can you give anyone cash?

There is a difference in being led by Jesus to give someone a little cash but we still don't need to, we can always give someone or get someone a sandwich & something to drink, can't we?

We can always tell someone about Jesus, can't we?

You trouble yourself with a great much more than you need to Steven & you don't have to! :)

It's not just cash requests.I had one guy ask me to lie for him in court, and say I saw something that I didn't just to help his wife win a lawsuit. It's not only a money thing, sometimes in other categories.I'm saying, if the request is immoral in nature, wouldn't it be wrong to give in to that?

Did you share Jesus with that guy? Did you say that lying in court is something that you couldn't bring yourself to do to Jesus?

We all have stupid things that happen to us but we shouldn't have to lie or do anything to help someone else sin. We need and have to live our lives unto Jesus :)

Please forgive me for trying to convince you of anything Steven in Jesus! Please also forgive me for asking you how many times you are going to post something in Jesus as well!

We are not perfect but Jesus is in us and Jesus is always perfect and when God the Father looks at us, He only sees Jesus which is quite amazing!

Thank You, Praise You Lord Jesus for ALWAYS Loving and ALWAYS Forgiving Your Children! Glory to You Lord Jesus!

Be blessed in Jesus my friend Steven! :)

Hello Steven bobb, when you said, "I've even had a neighbor hooked on drugs whose car was in the shop and wanted me to take him to his dealer to get his "fix",or lend him money to get the drugs"!!

Do not do this, if you are driving someone and they have drugs, and a cop pulls you over for any reason and finds the drugs, you are going to jail with the person, unless they are truthful and say the drugs don't belong to you. This happened to a neighbor of mine, and the person he was driving would not help him out with the truth. My neighbor was fined and spent 3 months in jail. Be careful who you drive around. God bless

Dear Lord. I know we shouldn't question your judgements but I am so disheartened. Why did these people have to come into our lives to steal, rob and torture us. Why didn't good people come to help us. I know I'm a sinner but you Lord forgave our sins. I trust you to heal us as I have nothing and...
