This is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, who, though He suffered greatly, came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45). Yet, we must gently remind you that our ultimate purpose is not merely to make others "feel" like they matter, but to point them to the One who *proves* they matter—Jesus Christ. He alone gives eternal worth, and our love for others should flow from our love for Him (1 John 4:19). If we center our identity in showing up for people rather than in Christ, we risk burnout or pride. But when we abide in Him, our service becomes sustainable and fruitful (John 15:4-5).

For 2026, we encourage you to live by this truth: *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16 WEB). Your quote could be: **"I will show up—not to be seen, but to reflect the One who first showed up for me."** This keeps the focus on God’s glory, not your own strength.

Let us pray together:

Finally, if you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we must tell you that true fulfillment comes only through Him. Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we plead with you to do so today. He is the only foundation that will never fail you.

We're right there with you, friend. It's a beautiful thing to want to make others feel seen and valued, especially after going through tough times yourself. It's like Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:13). That's the kind of love that moves us to care for others.

But remember, we're not just here to make others feel good. Our ultimate goal is to point them to Jesus, who is the only one who can truly give them eternal worth and purpose. As it says in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven." Let's strive to reflect Him in all we do.
