What is God’s message for you today? He is always with you.

We receive this word with grateful hearts and we agree that it reflects the heart of our Father toward you. We have indeed been called to be strong for others at times, but we were never meant to carry every burden in our own strength. The Lord Himself invites us to rest in Him without guilt and to let Him be our strength.

This is what Scripture assures us, that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and that He says Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Jesus Himself calls to us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light Matthew 11:28-30. We are also taught to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to remember that his grace is sufficient for us, for power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We notice this beautiful message speaks of God, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can truly enter that rest. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we can come boldly before God and receive His strength and peace. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus and rest in His finished work.

We pray together for you now in Jesus name. Father, we thank You that You are always with us and that You never leave us nor forsake us. We lift up this dear one to You who has been strong for so many others. Lord, we ask that You be their strength today. Teach them to rest without guilt and to release every heavy burden into Your caring hands. Forgive us when we try to prove our love by carrying more than You ask us to carry. Give them deep, renewing rest for their soul, quiet their anxious thoughts, and let them feel Your presence upholding them. Help them to abide in Jesus and to walk in Your grace each day. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, amen.

We hear what you shared today, and the weight behind it. You have been the strong one for so many people, and that kind of faithfulness is costly. It makes sense that the word about resting without guilt stood out to you.

You do not have to carry every burden to prove your love. Love is real even when you set something down for a while and let God be your strength. Like Elijah after a long season of serving, sometimes what restores us most is simple - food, sleep, quiet, and the presence of someone who cares - before we try to figure out the next big step.

One small step that helps when you are always the one others lean on is to choose one thing today you can release. It might be saying no to one extra request, letting someone else handle a task without checking on it, or giving yourself an hour to rest without explaining or apologizing for it. Notice what you already do well, and also notice where you need to be cared for. Allowing that care is not weakness, it is how we keep going.

We are praying for you as you learn that rhythm.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. Thank You that You are near and You see how much they have carried. Give them permission to rest without guilt today, and show them in practical ways that they are loved even when they are not holding everything. Renew their strength gently as they lean on You. In Jesus' name, amen.

The message which God has for you today is not a new whisper beyond His Word, but that sure Word itself which is already in your house and in your hand. This Bible is His message to your soul, and there is no possibility of escape from the judgment it pronounces, and no greater joy than the mercy it reveals in Christ.

It is true that the Lord is with His people, and the question is put to you, Is not the Lord your God with you. If you are trusting Him, He is with you, and you may go forth in His might. But this presence is known not by a feeling alone, but by faith in Jesus Christ, for apart from Him all strength is derived strength and must come to an end. A man is nothing, but with God in him he is made strong. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When the heart drinks life from the heart of God and man is at one with his Maker, then all is well. You have been strong for others, and now you feel spent, and the creatures show signs of age and weariness. Learn that your strength will utterly fail if it be your own. Wait upon the Lord, come to Christ and rest in Him, and then shall your peace be as a river and your strength be restored.

There is a rest which God gives, and it is twofold. First there is the rest He gives, when the load of sin is gone and the yoke is removed from the shoulder. Did not all your rest, when first your sin was forgiven, come from Him. Who took the load but Jesus, who lifted the yoke but He who purchased this blessing with a price. You have done with servile toils and hopeless burdens when you enter into rest through believing. Then there is the rest you find, as you learn of Him and walk with Him, rest from molesting cares. Justification gave you rest from the burden of sin, sanctification will give you rest from care, and in proportion as you are like your Saviour your rest shall become more like that of heaven. Take care that you live in a perpetual Sabbath of rest in the finished work of your ascended Lord.

You speak of resting without guilt, and here we must be honest before God. Do not deceive yourself. Guilt is not removed by telling yourself not to feel it, but by confession and pardon through the blood of Christ. The pardoned man gives evidence of his pardon by ceasing from guile and making an open confession of his sin to God. He does not ask for quarter for darling sins, but makes a clean breast of it before God. It is Christ that died, yea rather that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. All that you deserve of the wrath of God Christ has endured, and there is not a drop remaining for those who are in Him. Come to the golden chalice into which God drained His wrath and find there the sparkling wine of love. If you would have true rest without guilt, come just as you are, with a simple act of faith in Jesus, and He will give you rest from all your past sins and from all your efforts to save yourself.

You do not have to carry every burden to prove your love, for love is proved not by crushing yourself under a weight you were never meant to bear, but by casting your burden upon the Lord and learning obedience at the feet of Jesus. It is good to bear the yoke in youth and to learn restraint and to be taught of the Spirit of God, and it is good also to know that Christ invites the heavy laden to come to Him. Come to Him now, tell Him all your sin and all your weariness, trust His finished work, and you shall find that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and there remaineth a rest for the people of God which you may enter even now, and enjoy forever.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is deep truth in the word you have received, and it agrees with what Scripture teaches. God is with you, not only when you feel strong but especially when you feel weary. He does not measure your love by how much you can carry alone.

The Scripture says there remains a rest for the people of God, and we are urged to enter that rest by trusting Him rather than by hardening our hearts in self reliance. That rest is not idleness and it is not failure. It is faith that lets God be God while you are honest about your limits.

You have carried much for others, and the Lord sees that. Now He invites you to come to Christ who said, Come to me all you who labor and are heavy burdened and I will give you rest. To rest without guilt is not to abandon love, it is to place your burdens where they belong, upon Him who cares for you and who is able to sustain both you and those you love.

You do not have to prove your love by holding everything together. Love is also shown in humility, in prayer, in letting others help, and in trusting God to do what only He can do. The cares of this world can choke the heart when we try to hold them ourselves, but when we cast them on the Lord, He gives strength for today and hope for what is to come.

May the Lord be your strength today. Bring your weariness to Him in prayer, ask for His help without shame, receive the rest He provides through His Word, through prayer, and through the fellowship of His people, and walk forward one step at a time in His grace. He who has promised to be with you will not forsake you, and His peace will guard your heart as you learn to rest in Him.
