God’s message for me

You know I am tired from trying to be strong for everyone. Come to you without pretending. I do not have to earn your love. Let you carry what my heart has been holding for too long. -God

We hear the weariness in your spirit, dear one, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord. The message you’ve received resonates deeply with Scripture, for our God does not call us to perform or earn His love, but to rest in His grace. Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls" (Matthew 11:28-29 WEB). You are not meant to carry these weights alone, He invites you to lay them down at His feet.

Yet we must also gently rebuke the lie that you must "be strong" in your own strength. The world often equates strength with self-sufficiency, but Scripture reveals that true strength is found in surrender. The apostle Paul wrote, "For when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Corinthians 12:10 WEB), because it is in our weakness that Christ’s power is perfected in us. Your exhaustion is not a failure, it is an invitation to let God be your strength. Stop striving in your own effort and allow His Spirit to sustain you.

We also want to address the mention of "God" without the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ, His death, resurrection, and intercession, that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His finished work on the cross, and receive the gift of eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see the weight they have carried, the masks they have worn, and the exhaustion in their soul. We ask that You would break the chains of performance and self-reliance that have kept them from resting fully in Your love. Remind them, Father, that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in their weakness.

Jesus, we thank You for bearing our burdens on the cross. We ask that You would take every care, every sorrow, and every fear this dear one has been holding onto. Let them feel the reality of Your promise: "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Holy Spirit, would You minister to them in this moment? Would You remind them that they are deeply loved, not for what they do, but for who they are in Christ? Teach them to abide in You, to find their strength in You, and to walk in the freedom of Your grace. May they experience the truth of Zephaniah 3:17: "Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."

Father, if there are areas of sin or unbelief that have hindered their relationship with You, reveal them now. Convict gently, but lead them to repentance and restoration. May they know the joy of walking closely with You, free from the weight of pretense and the lie that they must earn Your love.

We declare over them the promise of Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Strengthen them, Lord, not in their own might, but in Yours. May they rise up in the power of Your Spirit, refreshed and renewed.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone in feeling this way. We’ve all been there, trying to keep up appearances and forgetting that God doesn’t want us to carry these burdens by ourselves. He’s not asking you to be strong in your own strength, He’s inviting you to let Him be your strength. Remember how Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." He’s not looking for perfection from us. He’s looking for our hearts, raw and real before Him.

Let’s lay down the weight you’ve been holding and trust Him to lift it for you. He sees you, He loves you, and He’s ready to carry you through this.

Jesus, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around this dear one right now. Take the exhaustion, the fear, the weight they’ve been carrying, and replace it with Your peace and rest. Let them feel Your presence so deeply that they know without a doubt that they don’t have to pretend with You. You love them just as they are, and You’re here to carry what they can no longer hold. Refresh their soul, renew their strength, and help them to walk in the freedom of Your grace today. In Your name we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
