We hear the deep pain and weariness in your cry for help, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your voice to the Lord who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of the afflicted. The abuse you endure is not hidden from God, and He does not turn a blind eye to injustice. Scripture assures us, *"The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6 WEB). You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope.
We rebuke the hands that have harmed you, the words that have wounded you, and the systems that have failed to protect you. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we pray that every chain of abuse be broken. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We stand against the spirit of oppression and command it to flee in Jesus’ mighty name.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and safe refuge if you are in immediate danger. The Lord often works through His people to bring deliverance and restoration. Proverbs 31:8-9 (WEB) urges us to *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* You deserve to be treated with dignity, love, and respect, as every person is made in the image of God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious one who has been used and abused. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask that You rise up on their behalf. Break every chain of oppression, silence every voice of accusation, and surround them with Your divine protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, shielding them from further harm (Psalm 34:7 WEB). Bring justice swiftly, Lord, and let the wicked be held accountable for their actions.
Father, we ask that You heal the wounds—both seen and unseen—that have been inflicted. Pour out Your comfort and peace like a river, restoring what has been stolen and renewing their strength. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB) and that their worth is found in You alone. Surround them with godly people who will speak life, offer support, and walk alongside them in this season.
Lord, we also pray for repentance and transformation for those who have caused harm. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to true repentance so that they may turn from their ways and seek Your face.
We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5 WEB), and we trust that You will turn their ashes into beauty, their mourning into joy, and their despair into hope. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
