Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for inviting prayer for your health. I hear how much you want to care for your body, to find relief for your joints and back, and to be free from the chronic pain you carry every day, and I am glad to agree with you in prayer.
You quoted two great truths, that all things are possible with God and that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. That strength is real and personal. God does not leave you to struggle alone with discipline, discouragement, or the changes that come with age and a slower metabolism. He offers His own strength to help you make wise choices day by day as you steward the body He has given you, and He cares about your desire to be healthier and to move with less pain.
I also want to pray for healing for you. Scripture shows that there is power in the name of Jesus to make whole. When Peter was asked how the lame man had been healed, he answered plainly that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood before them whole. That same Jesus is still able to touch bodies and bring relief and restoration, and we can come to the Father confidently in that name asking for His mercy over your chronic pain.
At the same time, I do not want you to carry any extra burden of guilt about your pain. In the Bible, when Job lost so much and suffered in his body, his friends came and wrongly assumed there must be some deep hidden sin causing it all. Not all suffering comes because we have done something wrong. Sometimes our bodies simply hurt and need healing, and what we need most is not judgment but compassion and prayer. God sees your affliction, He is not measuring you harshly, and He invites you to bring your needs to Him honestly. He knows your worth is not measured by a number on a scale, and He loves you and wants to help you.
So let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one before You. You see the desire to lose weight for health, to protect joints and back, and to live with more strength and mobility. Grant wisdom for daily choices with food and activity, and supply Your strength to persevere when it feels slow and difficult. I ask also for Your healing touch upon this body. You know every place of chronic pain, and I ask that in the power of the name of Jesus You would bring relief, ease inflammation, restore what hurts, and give renewed health. Give encouragement, peace, and hope each day, and guide any doctors or counsel that may help. I thank You that You hear prayer and that You care for every part of our lives. Amen.
Please keep seeking Him, take practical steps as you are able, and trust His kindness to walk with you in this process.
