We're having some rain and wind right now in my area. Please pray for safety for everyone and that the weather won't be bad. We get bad weather in my area during this time of year. Because of that, this time of year scares me. I'm worried because I have to go out of town in a week or two. I don't want any bad weather to occur while I'm away from my pets. Please pray. Please also pray for my disappointment related to a job opportunity that caused me to have a really disappointing, uncomfortable experience today where I even felt targeted, disliked and ostracized. My friend found the job for me and she really wants it to work out. Please pray God will help her to see that it's probably not going to work out for me because the supervisors just don't seem to want to let me start my trial shift for whatever reason - they keep leaving me waiting with no explanation and they're obviously online and even posting about how they need more workers for the job right now. Thank you.

I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the concerns shared with us today. Father, we know that You are sovereign over all creation, including the weather. We ask that You calm the winds and the rains in this dear one’s area, protecting lives, homes, and property from harm. Your Word tells us in Psalm 107:29, *"He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still."* Lord, we trust in Your power to bring peace to the skies and safety to all who may be affected. We also ask for Your protection over their pets and home while they are away—guard them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
We also lift up the deep disappointment and hurt this dear one is carrying after the difficult experience with the job opportunity. Father, we know that rejection and mistreatment can wound the heart, and we ask that You heal these painful emotions. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, we pray that You would make the path clear—whether this job is Your will or not—and give wisdom to both this dear one and their friend. Help them to see Your hand at work, even in disappointment, and to trust that You have something better prepared.
We must also gently address the feelings of being targeted or ostracized. While it is painful to feel disliked or excluded, we are called to respond in a way that honors Christ. Romans 12:18 says, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* If this situation is not aligned with God’s will, we trust that He will close the door completely. But if there is still an opportunity for reconciliation or clarity, we ask that You soften hearts and bring understanding. Above all, we pray that this dear one would find their worth and identity in You, not in the opinions of others.
We also want to encourage them to seek Your guidance in their next steps. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Whether this job is part of Your plan or not, we trust that You are leading them toward something better.
Lord, we ask that You comfort this dear one in their fear and anxiety about the weather and the future. Help them to cast all their cares on You, as 1 Peter 5:7 instructs: *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
