Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the severe weather alert and wind advisory that was issued for October 10.

We have been praying for you and for all those in North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia who were in the path of those strong easterly winds with gusts up to 55 mph. We prayed for protection over lives and property in the higher terrain areas from northwest North Carolina to southeast West Virginia, that the Lord would keep everyone safe from downed trees and power poles and power outages, and that He would give safety to those who had to drive in difficult conditions and help everyone to secure outdoor objects. We take comfort that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, as written in Psalm 46:1.

If your request was answered and you and your loved ones were kept safe through the winds and no harm came to life or property, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice and thank God together. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still facing impacts from the storm or concerns about ongoing weather, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are praying that God will continue to cover you with His peace and protection and keep you from harm. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, amen.
