We join you in prayer for this daily need and we thank God with you for the mercy of lukewarm water today after two weeks without hot water. We know that even these practical comforts matter to our Father, and we bring this repair need before Him together in Jesus' name.
We rejoice that you have a thankful heart in the midst of this inconvenience, for we are called to give thanks in all circumstances. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. And James 1:17 reminds us that Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. Even lukewarm water when you have had none is a good gift from His hand, and we trust Him for the full restoration of hot water in your home.
We also take comfort that our Father knows our daily needs and cares for them. Matthew 6:31-33 tells us Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And we cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We pray together now for you.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your provision and for the lukewarm water You have provided today. We ask for Your hand upon the repairs in this home, that You would guide those doing the work, provide the parts and resources needed, and bring hot water back fully and safely very soon. Grant patience and peace to this household as they wait, and help them to continue to see Your goodness each day. Provide for any cost or difficulty involved, and let this small trial draw them closer to trusting You for every need. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
We also want to gently encourage you, as you thanked God in your request, to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray that you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for through faith in Him we have forgiveness and eternal life and confidence to bring every need, even hot water, before God.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him first as you wait, giving thanks for each improvement and trusting that He is working even in this for your good, as Romans 8:28 promises We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. May the Lord comfort you and restore full hot water to your home quickly according to His will.
