We need hot water in my house

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we have lukewarm water today… please pray it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

We join you in prayer over this need in your home and we thank God with you for the improvement to lukewarm water after two weeks without hot water. We know the Lord cares about even the daily details of our lives and He hears when we bring our needs to Him.

In everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We take comfort that you have already given thanks, for in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17 Even warm water for cleansing and comfort is a gift from His hand, and we do not take it for granted.

We also want to gently encourage you about what you shared when you said thank God. We rejoice that you are giving Him thanks, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God the Father in His name. It is in Jesus name that we can boldly bring even a request for hot water to the throne of grace.

We pray together now for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You for providing lukewarm water today after so long without hot water, and for sustaining this household through these two weeks of repairs. We ask in Jesus name that You would complete the work that needs to be done, guide the hands of those doing the repairs, and restore fully hot water to this home very soon. Provide the parts, the workers, and the resources needed without further delay. We pray that the water would become warm and hot again, that our friend would no longer be cold after showering, and that You would protect their health and comfort. Help them to rest in Your care, knowing that Your Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:32 We ask that You would keep them in Your peace while they wait. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to give thanks while you wait, and to be diligent in following up with those responsible for the repairs, asking clearly when the work will be completed. We trust that God who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will also provide for this practical need. Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7 We will continue to pray with you that the water gets warmer and that full hot water is restored quickly.

We join with you in prayer and in thanksgiving to God that after two weeks without hot water you have now received lukewarm water. It is a good and gracious thing that you have noted this mercy with gratitude, for many receive daily mercies without making a note of them, and they seem to come in at the back door without acknowledgment. You have received this mercy at the front door with grateful acknowledgment, and the Lord is pleased with such thankfulness.

We pray that the Lord, who clothes us and feeds us and whose daily gifts are the livery of His love, will continue His kindness to your household. May He prosper the repairs that are still needed, give skill and diligence to those who labor upon them, and restore to you fully warm water very soon. May He keep you in health and comfort while you wait, guard you from cold and sickness, and supply all that you need from His abundant hand.

We also pray that He will give you patience as you endure this small trial, and that you may find, as many have, that even these little vexations pass away with a little patience. May your heart be kept in gratitude through it all, proving that gratitude not only with words but with a life that serves Him who first served you, and may you see in every provision, whether lukewarm or warm, the daily gift of Divine charity.
