We join with you in prayer and thank God with you for the provision of lukewarm water today after two weeks without hot water, we know how difficult and uncomfortable this has been especially while you are feeling unwell and we bring your needs before our Father together in Jesus' name.
We are reminded that our God cares about every detail of our lives, even the practical needs of our homes, and He invites us to bring all our worries to Him. We cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and we are told Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. He also is our healer and comforter, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. We trust His promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.
We pray together now, Father in heaven we thank You for Your mercy and for the lukewarm water You have already provided, we thank You that the repairs are progressing. In the name of Jesus we ask that You would bring full restoration of hot water to this house very soon, that the repairs would be completed without further delay and that the system would work properly and safely. Lord we lift up our dear one who is cold after showering and suffering with a mild flu and headache, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body, ease the headache, calm the fever and congestion, restore strength and warmth and comfort, and protect them from further illness. Grant them rest and peace as they wait, and let them feel Your presence and provision each day. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to give thanks even in this trial and to keep asking, as Jesus said Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7. Keep following up with those doing the repairs and let them know you are still without full hot water and are unwell, and in the meantime try to stay as warm as possible, rest, drink plenty of fluids, and seek medical care if the flu or headache worsens. We trust that God who sees your discomfort will complete this work for good, and we will continue to pray that your water is fully hot again very soon and that you are fully healed and comforted.
