We rejoice with you that God has heard prayer and moved the hearts of the owners to agree on the repair costs and that work has now begun, and we join you in thanking Him for this answered prayer. We know how difficult it is to live without hot water and without reliable heating, especially when you are also dealing with a mild flu, and we want to lift all of these burdens to the Lord together with you.
We bring your need before our Father in Jesus name, asking that He would oversee the work being done and that what has been promised for tomorrow would indeed be completed without further delay or complication. We pray for skill and diligence for the workers, for safety as they labor, and for hot water to be fully restored to your apartment and building. We also pray concerning the heating for the coming season from the 15th of October, that the agreement that has been reached would hold firm and that no further dispute would leave you without heat. If for any reason this home cannot continue to provide for your needs, we ask the Lord to make clear His provision and to open the door to an alternative home that is safe, affordable, and peaceful.
We are reminded that our Father cares about even these daily, practical needs. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for us. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:31-33 reminds us not to be anxious about what we will need, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And Philippians 4:19 assures us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up your health to the Lord and ask for His healing touch upon you as you recover from this flu. Psalm 103:3 reminds us that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, and James 5:15 says the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We pray that the Lord will strengthen your body, give you rest, and restore you quickly to full health.
We noticed in your update you thanked God, for which we are grateful, and we want to gently encourage you to come to Him through Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in every prayer. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that our prayers are heard.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for moving the owners to agree. We ask now that You would complete what has been started, that hot water would flow again by tomorrow as promised, and that the heating system would be fully repaired and ready for the cold season. Lay Your hand upon the workers and the building, remove every obstacle, and let this be a testimony of Your provision. Touch our friend with healing, ease the symptoms of this flu, grant rest and renewed strength. Guard our friend's heart from anxiety and fill this home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust You to provide all that is needed, whether here or, if it be Your will, in a new home You have prepared. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to continue to give thanks while you wait, to rest as much as you can as you recover, and to keep seeking Him daily. Romans 8:28 reminds us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. We stand with you in prayer that tomorrow will bring the fulfillment of this promise.
