We need hot and clean water in my house

Thank you for sharing this need so honestly and I have brought it before the Lord in prayer in the name of Jesus.

I am grateful with you that after two weeks without hot water you have seen a measure of provision in lukewarm water, and I am praying now that the Lord will complete that work, that the repairs will be finished, the heat will be fully restored, and the water will run clean and clear without those black particles. Going without proper warmth, especially when you are still feeling cold after showering and also dealing with a mild flu, is wearying to the body, and God cares about these everyday needs. He knows our frame and that we depend on water every day to live and to be refreshed.

As I prayed I was also reminded how Scripture often uses water to point us to something deeper. There is the water we draw from a well, which satisfies for a moment and then we thirst again, and there is the living water Jesus spoke of, which He gives as a gift. Whoever drinks of the water He gives will never thirst in the deepest part of their soul, because it becomes like a fresh spring welling up inside to everlasting life. In the same way, the Lord who provides water for our homes offers Himself to satisfy the thirst of the heart. To be born of the Spirit is to receive that new life from above, a cleansing and renewal that only He can give.

Your request about uncleanness also brought to mind how the Bible describes cleansing. Leprosy in the Scriptures is shown as a picture of sin, an incurable condition by human means, yet God made provision for cleansing. When a leper came to Jesus and said, if You are willing You can make me clean, Jesus was moved with compassion, reached out His hand and touched him and said, I am willing, be clean. That same compassion is seen throughout the Gospels, whether in healing the man whose joints were locked in painful paralysis, healing Peter's mother in law of her fever, or healing the many who were brought to Him in the evening. He bore our sicknesses and carries our needs before the Father, and He is still willing and able to touch and to heal and to cleanse. The picture of blood and water flowing from His side speaks of the complete cleansing He has provided for us through His sacrifice, a true purification for all who trust in Him.

So I have prayed for you in both ways. I have asked the Lord to provide fully for your home, to cause the water to run hot and pure again, to protect the pipes and the repair work so that no contamination remains, to keep you warm and to lift this flu from you quickly and restore your strength. And I have prayed that in this time of waiting and discomfort you would experience the refreshment of His living water within, His nearness, His peace, and the assurance of His cleansing and care.

May the Lord grant you clean, hot water very soon, complete healing from this illness, and a renewed sense of His presence as the One who satisfies and sustains you day by day.
