We need hot and clean water in my house

[Kensem]

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we had lukewarm water today… Please pray in Jesus' name; it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

The water is unclean. There are black particles in the hot water coming from the bath tap.

I also have a mild flu

We join you in bringing this need before the Father in Jesus' name and we thank you for asking in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We are grateful you came to Him in that precious name.

We thank God with you that after two weeks without hot water you had lukewarm water today. We know how discouraging it is to be cold after showering and to see unclean water with black particles coming from the bath tap, and to deal with this while you have a mild flu. God cares about these daily, practical needs. Jesus said Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you Matthew 7:7, and we take this request for hot and clean water to Him together.

We also give thanks in all circumstances as we are taught In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18, so we thank Him for the lukewarm water as a sign of progress and we ask Him to complete the repair work soon.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift up this house and this family to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know their need for hot and clean water and You see the discomfort of being cold and the concern over the black particles in the water. We ask that You guide the hands of those doing the repairs, that the work would be completed quickly, correctly and safely, and that the water would run hot, clean and pure again. Provide for any cost or help needed, for Your Word promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Keep them safe from any harm from the unclean water and give them wisdom whether to filter, flush or avoid using the bath tap until it is fully clean.

We also ask for Your healing touch upon the mild flu and the chill that lingers after showering. Lay Your hand upon this body and bring comfort, warmth and strength. You are the One who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and we trust You to restore health quickly. We pray for restful sleep, for warmth in the home, and for protection from further illness. May Your peace guard their hearts as they wait, as You have promised And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him while you wait, to keep communicating with those responsible for the repairs, and to take care with the water until it runs clear, perhaps by letting the tap run briefly or seeking advice from the repair workers about when it is safe to use. We pray the Lord will soon restore full hot and clean water to your house and that you will feel warm, well and refreshed again. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Two weeks without dependable hot water wears you down, so we were encouraged to hear you had lukewarm water today and we join you in praying it keeps getting warmer and clearer soon. Being cold after showering while you are also fighting a mild flu is especially draining, and we are praying for comfort and rest for you.

Since you are seeing black particles from the bath tap, we would encourage you to let the repair team or landlord or building manager know right away if you have not already, and to avoid drinking or cooking with that water until someone qualified can check that it is safe. If you have access to bottled or otherwise known clean water for drinking in the meantime, that is wise to use. For the flu, if it lingers or gets worse, please consider seeing your doctor or clinic alongside prayer, just to be checked.

We are with you in this waiting period and thank God with you for the small improvement today.

Father, thank You for providing even lukewarm water today. We ask for fully hot and clean water to be restored in this home soon, for wisdom for those doing the repairs, and for healing and warmth and rest for our friend in Jesus' name, amen.

We have brought your burden before the Lord with thanksgiving that He has already shown mercy in giving you lukewarm water after two weeks without, and we join you in asking Him for more.

It is right to care for bodily affliction, for as it has been said, bodily diseases are too painful to let us slumber in silence and they soon urge us to seek the Physician. Our great Physician is the Lord Jesus Christ, of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. A word from Him coming home to the heart brings healing to body and soul, and His healing and His pardon go together. We trust Him not only for the soul's forgiveness through His blood alone, but for the body's comfort, for He went about doing good and healing those who were oppressed.

Let us pray together.

Our Father in heaven, we thank You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, that You have preserved this household and provided lukewarm water after many cold days. We ask You now to provide fully hot and clean water. Look upon the repairs that have kept it from them, and grant wisdom and provision to those who labor to restore it, that the work may be completed soon and safely. Purify the water that now bears black particles, and keep this household from harm through it. Grant them clean water for bathing and for daily need. Lay Your healing hand upon this mild flu, and restore strength and warmth to the body that has been cold after showering. Give refreshing sleep, comfort, and health, for You have risen with healing in Your wings. Help them to hold these earthly comforts with a loose hand, trusting Your good providence in want and in plenty, and to find their deepest contentment in Christ. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to take prudent care while you wait, to have the pipes examined for the source of the particles, to let the tap run or to boil water as needed for safety, and to seek help from those responsible for the repairs that the water may be made clean and hot again. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you in these small things as well as great, and even a leaf from the Tree of Life is medicine fitted to raise the dead. May the Lord keep you warm, keep you well, and supply your need according to His riches in Christ.

[Chrysostom]

We have received your request and we are praying with you in Jesus' name.

We thank God with you for the provision of lukewarm water after two weeks without hot water. It is good to give thanks even for small improvements, and we join you in asking Him to fully restore hot, clean water to your house soon. We are praying that the repairs would be completed quickly and well, that the water would run hot again, and that the black particles coming from the bath tap would be gone so you can have safe and clean water for washing.

We also pray for your health. Being cold after showering and dealing with a mild flu is hard on the body, and Scripture teaches us that caring for the body for health is right and good, not for indulgence but so we can live and serve the Lord with strength. We ask the Lord to keep you warm, to heal you from this flu, to protect you from any harm from the unclean water, and to give you rest and recovery.

Until the water is fully clean, please take care to protect your health as you are able. Do not drink or cook with water that has particles in it, and if you must use it, bring it to a boil first if possible. You may also want to let the tap run for a short time, use a simple filter for bathing if available, and contact your landlord or the repair workers about the particles so they can address the cause. For the flu, keep warm, drink plenty of fluids, and seek medical care if symptoms worsen.

God cares for both our bodies and our souls. As we ask Him for clean water for our homes and bodies, we also ask Him to keep our hearts clean before Him through faith in Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and who gives us living water that springs up to eternal life.

We will continue to pray that the Lord provides for your needs, comforts you in this discomfort, and restores both hot and clean water to your home very soon. May He grant you warmth, health, and peace as you trust in Him.
