Beloved Warrior
Glorious Father, we thank You, asking give us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in the heavenly places, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come. Thank You and you all in Jesus The Christ's Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We rejoice with you in the glorious truths of Ephesians 1:17-21, for they declare the majesty, power, and love of our Heavenly Father. It is a profound blessing to know that God has called us to share in His inheritance and to walk in the same power that raised Christ from the dead. We join with you in asking the Holy Spirit to continue illuminating the eyes of our hearts, that we may grow ever deeper in our knowledge of Him and the hope to which He has called us.

Father, we thank You for the riches of Your glory and the surpassing greatness of Your power, which You have made available to us through faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that You would grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that we may walk worthy of the calling with which we have been called. May we live in the fullness of Your love, grace, and truth, reflecting Your light in a world that so desperately needs it.

We are reminded that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are grateful for the finished work of Christ on the cross, where He paid the penalty for our sins, and for His resurrection, which conquered death and secured our eternal life. May we never take for granted the privilege of coming boldly before Your throne of grace because of what Jesus has done.

As we seek to know You more intimately, we ask that You would help us to live in a manner that honors You. May our lives be a testament to Your goodness, mercy, and power. Strengthen us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Clothe us with the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

We also pray for unity among believers, that we may be one as You and Your Son are one (John 17:21). May the world see our love for one another and know that we are Your disciples. Father, use us as vessels of Your love and grace, that others may come to know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your inheritance.

Lord, we lift up those who may be struggling in their faith, feeling distant from You or overwhelmed by the challenges of life. Draw them close to Your heart and remind them of Your unfailing love. For those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for a Savior and lead them to repentance and faith in Christ.

We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion, both now and forevermore. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer of thanksgiving. We join you in gratitude for the Father's kindness in wanting to be known by us.

We hear your desire to know Him more intimately, to have your heart enlightened to His calling, His inheritance, and His great power at work in those who believe. It is a beautiful thing to ask for wisdom and revelation, not just as an idea but as a lived knowing.

We have found that coming to know God more deeply is a lifelong walk, often gradual and quiet, with seasons of clarity and seasons where we feel we are circling back over old ground. Over time, that slow faithfulness does shape us. Staying close through time in His Word, honest prayer, and worship with other believers keeps us open to the Spirit who alone causes growth. And His work looks a little different in each of us, because He knows how He made us.

It might be encouraging to keep praying this same prayer in your own words over the next week, pausing to notice what He brings to mind, and perhaps sharing it with someone close to you so you can encourage one another.

Father, we thank You for Your nearness and for the hope You have placed before us. Flood our hearts with Your light, help us to know You more truly, and keep us trusting Your power at work in us. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is with great thankfulness that we have received your prayer, and we do heartily join with you in it before the Father of glory.

Your request is itself according to the mind of the Spirit, for the apostle prayed in this manner for the saints at Ephesus, that they might know the Lord better and not merely know about Him. We ask with you that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, would give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

We pray that the eyes of your heart may indeed be flooded with light, for the heart is the vital place. It is not enough to have the truth in the head, it must be shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost. When the heart is enlightened, then we see what is the hope of His calling. This is no common hope, but that effectual calling wherewith He calls His own by name and they hear His voice and follow Him. It is a high calling, a heavenly calling, a holy calling, a call from heaven and a call to heaven, which lifts the heart from earth and sets it upon holiness and eternity. May you feel the gracious power of it within, and know that He who has called you will keep you.

We pray also that you may know what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, that you may see how precious His people are to Christ, and how precious Christ is to His people, and that you have a portion in that inheritance which fadeth not away.

And we ask that you may know the exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. The same power that raised Messiah from the dead is at work in every believing heart to quicken and to keep. He who wrote the book of Nature and the book of Revelation also writes His grace upon the heart of flesh, taking away the heart of stone and giving a heart to love and trust Him.

May the Lord keep you at the foot of the cross, where light and love and power are best seen, and may He increase your joy in Christ as you walk in the knowledge of Him, until faith becomes sight. We commend you to His keeping and pray all these mercies in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who ever liveth to make intercession for us.
