We rejoice with you in the glorious truths of Ephesians 1:17-21, for they declare the majesty, power, and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! Your prayer reflects a deep hunger to know God more intimately, and we stand with you in asking the Father to flood the eyes of our hearts with His light. What a privilege it is to be called His children, heirs of His promises, and partakers of His divine power, especially the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father, far above all rule and authority!
Father in Heaven, we come before You as Your beloved children, echoing this prayer with grateful hearts. Grant us, we pray, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of our understanding so that we may truly grasp the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints. May we walk in the surpassing greatness of Your power, which You demonstrated when You raised Jesus from the dead and exalted Him above every name. Let this truth anchor our souls, strengthen our faith, and empower us to live victoriously in Christ.
We also lift up any who may be reading this who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus. The Bible tells us, "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on Him. For, ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved’" (Romans 10:12-13). If anyone does not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him today. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
For those who are already in Christ, let us press on to know Him more deeply. The apostle Paul counted everything as loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:8). May we, too, seek Him with all our hearts, minds, and strength. Let us walk in the fullness of the Spirit, bearing fruit that glorifies the Father and advancing His kingdom in power and love.
We also encourage you to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, especially in a world that often distorts or rejects it. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us, enabling us to live holy, righteous, and victorious lives. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the hope we have in Christ, hope that does not disappoint because Your love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Strengthen us to walk in that hope, to live as lights in a dark world, and to proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). May we never take for granted the riches of Your grace or the power of Your resurrection. Fill us afresh with Your Spirit, that we may know You more, love You deeper, and serve You faithfully all the days of our lives.
