Warning to us all

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I write this not from a place of strength, but from deep suffering. My heart is heavy, my body is weak, and my tears will not stop. For days now, I have not eaten. I have no home to go to. And with pain I can hardly put into words — I have lost my child to hunger. My hands are empty. My house is empty. In this valley, the Word of God has been crying out to me: "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." — Matthew 24:7 Beloved, are we not living this scripture now? Nations rising against nations, hunger in many homes, sickness everywhere, the earth shaking. These are not just stories on the news. They are warnings from the Lord. They are birth pains. I have lived this verse in my own flesh. I know what famine means. I know what it is to watch your own child suffer and to have nothing to give. This world cannot give us peace. Money, position, and power cannot save us. Only Christ can. So I am pleading with you, as one who is suffering: Let us wake up. Let us return to prayer. Let us return to holiness and to love. Let us forgive one another and carry one another's burdens while there is still time. If God has blessed you with food and a roof, please pray for those of us who have none. And if you can, remember the poor around you, a plate of food, a kind word, can save a life. If you are suffering like me, do not give up. God sees your tears. He sees you in the street, He sees you hungry. The storm is coming, but Christ is still our ark. Let us run to Him. Have mercy on us, O Lord, on our families, on our children, and on this generation. With tears and love,

We have read your words through tears and we have not taken them lightly. We hear your suffering, your hunger, your homelessness, and the unthinkable pain of losing your child to hunger, and we weep with you. We carry your burden before the Lord with you, for He calls us to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ Galatians 6:2. You are not unseen. You are not forgotten. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.

You have spoken truth from the Word of God when you quoted For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places Matthew 24:7. Yes, beloved, we believe we are living in the days Jesus warned of. He said all these things are the beginning of birth pains Matthew 24:8. These are not distant headlines, as you said, they are warnings to wake up, to watch, to be ready, and to run to the ark which is Christ Himself. This world and its money and power cannot save us. Only Jesus can. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. That name is Jesus Christ, and it is only through Him that we can come boldly to God in prayer and find mercy and grace in our time of need.

We want to encourage you that God sees you in the street, He sees your empty hands and your empty house, and He hears your cry. When you have not eaten for days, remember that He is the One who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry Psalm 146:7, and who invites all who labor and are heavily burdened to come to Him, and He will give rest Matthew 11:28. He is not distant from your tears. He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more Revelation 21:4. Though now you walk through this valley, we cling with you to the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that even when we feel forsaken, He says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

Your plea is also a holy warning to all of us who have food and a roof. You are right to call us to wake up, to return to prayer, to holiness and to love, to forgive one another and to remember the poor. The Lord Jesus said For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in Matthew 25:35. And He said Truly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me Matthew 25:40. Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction James 1:27. We hear your exhortation and we take it to heart. If any among us have been given much, we must open our hands with a plate of food, a kind word, a place of shelter, and the hope of the gospel while there is still time. We also urge you, dear suffering one, if you can, to let a local Bible believing church know where you are, so that the body of Christ near you can come to you with practical help and comfort. You should not suffer alone.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come to Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear precious soul who is hungry and without a home and mourning the loss of a child. Lord, have mercy. Have mercy on this family, on all families and children who suffer hunger and affliction in this generation. You see every tear, You collect them, You are close to the brokenhearted. We ask You to send daily bread, to provide shelter, to strengthen this weak body, to comfort this grieving heart with Your presence that passes all understanding. Wrap Your arms around this one who feels empty and alone and let them know they are held by You. Heal the wound that cannot be put into words. Provide brothers and sisters nearby to bring food, clean water, clothing and a safe place to rest. Guard their life, keep them from despair, and lift up their eyes to Jesus, our only hope and our ark in the storm. Awaken Your church, Lord, to pray, to repent, to walk in holiness, to forgive and to love as You have loved us, and to remember the poor with generosity. Let this great suffering not be in vain but draw many to run to Christ while there is still time. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our coming King. Amen.

If you are suffering like this dear one, do not give up. Keep calling upon the name of Jesus. Keep praying even with groans and tears, for the Spirit Himself intercedes for us. The storm is real and the birth pains are increasing, but Christ is still our ark and He will not let those who trust in Him be put to shame. We are praying for you and standing with you until He comes.

We have read your words and we are grieving with you. To lose your child to hunger, to have no home and no food yourself, to feel your body grow weak and your tears not stop, is a sorrow very few can imagine. Thank you for trusting us with something so painful and personal.

There is no right way to carry a loss like this. Grief is deeply personal and no two people walk through it the same way. What you are feeling, the emptiness in your hands and in your house, the shock and the ache, makes sense after such a loss. Please try not to carry it alone. Shared sorrow is often lighter when it is shared with caring people who will simply sit with you and listen.

We are praying for you, and we also want to encourage you to get care for your body right now. Not eating for days and feeling weak is something to bring to a medical professional or clinic as soon as you can, alongside prayer. If there is a local church, shelter, aid organization, or a trusted person nearby, please let them know where you are and what you need for food and safe shelter. If you can, reach out today to someone near you who can help you take that next step.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this dear parent to You. You see this loss and this hunger and homelessness. We ask for Your mercy and nearness, for daily bread and a safe place to rest, for comfort in this grief and for people nearby to come alongside with practical help. Lead each next step and keep this child in Your eternal care. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your grief has been laid before us and before the Lord, and we have heard the cry of hunger and loss that has come from your lips. The Lord knows what it is to be without a home and to suffer want, and He does not despise the tears of His afflicted ones. He says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God, and He sends that comfort not as a cold word but as a living Word which quickens the soul.

You have quoted truly that nation shall rise against nation, and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places. These are indeed the beginning of sorrows, the birth pains of which our Lord warned us. This world cannot give peace, and as you have said, money and position and power cannot save. Their strength shall be starved when they seek comfort out of Christ and away from God. Many have plenty and yet are devoured with hunger in the midst of plenty, because the soul can only be fed with the Bread of Heaven. Yet for the child of God there is a peculiar comfort even in affliction, for His Word hath quickened us. Though the body be weak and the house be empty, to be a living child of God is better than to be a happy worldling. He will not break the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax, and the feeblest saint cost Christ as much as the strongest, even His precious blood.

Do not think that your sorrow is a sign that God has forgotten you. Neither goodness nor greatness can deliver us from affliction in this present world, but affliction cannot separate us from His love. He will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the trial make a way to bear it. He sees you in the street, He sees you hungry, He bottles your tears. If you can say, Whatever pain I suffer, yet I am His, then you have a wellspring of comfort.

You ask us to wake, to return to prayer and holiness and love, to forgive and to bear one another's burdens while there is time. This is a faithful exhortation. It was little prayer that brought many of us low, and it is great prayer that by God's help will lift us up. Let us then be established not only in comfort but in every good word and work, for comfort alone is not enough unless it makes us constant in love toward Christ and toward our neighbor. If God has blessed any of us with food and a roof, let us remember the poor around us, for a plate of food and a kind word may by God's mercy save a life. Let us carry one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ.

We will pray for you now, and we ask the Lord's people to pray and to act as He provides opportunity.

O Lord, have mercy upon this suffering one and upon all who hunger and have no home. Thou who didst feed the multitude and who art Thyself the Bread of Life, quicken by Thy Word those who are faint and desponding. Provide daily bread, shelter, and the comfort of Thy presence. Heal the broken heart that mourns a child, and keep that little one in Thy everlasting arms. Lead us all to run into Christ as our ark while the storm rages, and keep us looking for that day when we shall forget our misery as waters that pass away. Grant us repentance, faith, holiness and love, through Jesus Christ our Lord alone, in whom is all our hope. Amen.
