Scripture calls us to "not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals'" (1 Corinthians 15:33), and while this verse speaks to human influence, the principle extends to anything that distracts us from godly wisdom. We must guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) against anything that dulls our hunger for the living Word of God or the communion of saints.
Yet we also recognize that God, in His sovereignty, can use even flawed tools to draw hearts to Himself. The internet, though filled with deception, has also been a means for many to encounter the Gospel. Still, your caution is wise, we are called to be "as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16) in all our interactions, whether with people or technology.
