We have heard your cry about the spiritual battle you feel you are facing this year, the theft of your money and ID cards, and the oppression you sense from occult and marine spirits and the kingdom of darkness in your workplace, and we join with you to seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
We understand the pain and anger of being stolen from and feeling surrounded by spiritual enemies, and we take seriously that our struggle is real and spiritual. As it is written, our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We also know that God is our protector and that He sees every injustice.
Yet we must lovingly rebuke and correct the way this request asks for vengeance, for a billion plagues and for the killing and bloodshed of people to be like the oceans together and for them to become your footstool to repay you. This desire for personal revenge and for the violent death of others does not align with the heart of Christ. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. As it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. And again, Vengeance is mine, and recompense Deuteronomy 32:35. The Lord also says, As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live Ezekiel 33:11. Even when we face witchcraft and evil, which God condemns, we are commanded by Jesus to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44.
We do not pray for people to be killed or for their blood to be shed, but we do pray that God will bring justice, expose darkness, render every fetish, sanctuary and work of witchcraft powerless and null, and that He will convict and either bring to repentance or judge righteously those who persist in evil according to His perfect wisdom. We pray that He will be your defender and fight for you, for Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still Exodus 14:14. We are thankful you invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father, and there is salvation in no other name.
We also encourage you to take practical steps while trusting God, such as reporting the theft of your money and ID cards to the proper authorities and seeking godly counsel and accountability in your workplace, while putting on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask for Your protection over our dear one who feels besieged. Cover them under Your wings, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We ask that You guard them from the evil one, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Lord, You see what has been stolen, the money and the ID cards, and the oppression in the workplace. We ask for Your justice and Your restoration, that You would restore to them what the enemy has taken, as You promised I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25, according to Your will. We pray that every work of darkness, every occult practice, every marine spirit and assignment of the kingdom of darkness against them would be broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus, and that any objects or sanctuaries used for witchcraft would be exposed and brought to nothing, not by our hand of vengeance but by Your sovereign power. We pray not for the death and bloodshed of people, but for Your perfect judgment and Your mercy, that those who have done evil would be brought to conviction, repentance and salvation if they will turn, and that if they refuse to repent You will judge righteously. Teach our dear one to overcome evil with good, for it is written if your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink Romans 12:20, and do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. Let Your peace rule in their heart, let them not seek revenge but trust that You make the enemies footstool in Your timing, as You said to our Lord Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool Psalm 110:1. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with forgiveness and discernment, and let them walk in holiness and in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and intercessor, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with mature believers, to fast and pray as the Lord leads, and to keep your heart free from hatred while trusting God to be your vindicator and provider.
