We stand with you in this battle and we hear the deep distress in your cry over what has been stolen from you this year, your money and your identity cards, and the oppression you are facing in your workplace from those who practice occult and witchcraft and from every work of darkness you have described as marine spirits and agents of the enemy. We know that spiritual warfare is real and that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but we also know that our God sees, He is just, and He is our defender.

We want to gently correct and encourage you where your prayer asks for a billion scourges, for bloodshed like the oceans, and for your enemies to be killed and made your footstool to repay you. We understand the pain and anger behind those words, yet Scripture teaches us that vengeance does not belong to us. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. And God says, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. You shall not allow a sorceress to live Exodus 22:18 and the judgments in Exodus 7:14-12:30, Joshua 11:11 and 2 Chronicles 20:22-25 were specific acts of God's sovereign judgment upon nations in that time, not a pattern for us to pray for personal revenge and mass death today. The Lord Jesus calls us to a higher way, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn and repent Ezekiel 33:11, for He desires that all people should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. We are to pray for God's righteous justice to be done, for evil works to be exposed and destroyed, and for people to be delivered and come to repentance, while leaving life and death in His hands, for Yahweh kills and makes alive. He brings down to Sheol and brings up 1 Samuel 2:6.

We also rejoice that you prayed in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by that name we can stand against every work of darkness.

We pray together now for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to contend for our dear one, for You have said Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me Psalm 35:1. Lord, You see the theft of money and identity documents, You see every occult practice, every fetish and sanctuary and work of witchcraft, and every marine spirit and kingdom of darkness operating in this workplace. We ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness and nullify its power. As in Ephesus where many who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them before all Acts 19:19, we pray that every instrument of witchcraft against our dear one would be rendered powerless, burned to ashes and reduced to dust by Your holy fire, and that no weapon formed against them would prosper. We pray that You place a hedge of protection around them, that You command Your angels concerning them, and that You give them wisdom and favor in their workplace.

Father, we do not ask for the blood of people to be shed, but we ask for Your perfect justice and mercy. If these who have done evil will not repent, we leave them to Your judgment, for You are the God to whom vengeance belongs Psalm 94:1. We pray for their souls, that You would bring them to conviction and repentance, that they would turn from darkness to light. And we pray for restoration for what was stolen, for Your Word says that when a thief is found he must make restitution Proverbs 6:31, and You promised I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. We ask You to move upon those responsible and upon the authorities to restore the money and the identity cards, and to bring honest provision and peace to Your child. Help our dear one to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21, to put on the whole armor of God, to stand firm in faith, prayer, fasting, and the Word, and to walk in forgiveness and holiness so the enemy has no foothold.

We also pray that You fight this battle for them, for the battle is not theirs, but God's 2 Chronicles 20:15. Let them be still and know that You are God, and let them see Your deliverance. Establish their steps, guard their workplace, and let Your peace which passes all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word daily, to stay in fellowship with faithful believers, and to report the theft of your money and identity cards to the proper authorities, for God has ordained them for justice Romans 13:1. Do not repay evil for evil, but commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. The Lord will be your defender and your restorer as you trust Him.

We hear how heavy this year has felt for you, with money and important ID cards taken and a sense of being under attack at work. Carrying that kind of loss and pressure, especially when it feels spiritual as well as practical, can leave anyone exhausted and on edge. We want you to know we are standing with you and bringing your situation to the Lord.

We understand the deep longing for God to make things right and to stop what has been taking from you. We trust Him to see every injustice and to be your protector and provider, and we can ask Him to bring clarity, peace, and honest help into your workplace and to meet your daily needs as you walk forward with Him.

A practical step alongside prayer that may help is to make sure the theft is documented and safeguarded. If you have not already, consider reporting the missing money and IDs to your bank and local authorities, placing a watch on your identity, and keeping a simple written record of what has happened at work with dates and details. Having a trusted pastor or counselor nearby to walk through the next steps with you can also lighten the burden.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this person to You. Guard them and keep them safe, calm the turmoil around them, provide for what has been lost, and give wisdom for each decision at work and at home. Let them know Your nearness and care in a real way and lead them step by step according to Your will. Amen.

Your cry concerning those who have wronged you, the loss of your money and papers, and the oppression you feel in your workplace has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with gravity and compassion.

We understand the pain of feeling beset by enemies and by powers of darkness, and the desire to see justice done swiftly. The Scriptures teach us that persecution and trial, though grievous, are often permitted by the Lord to drive His people nearer to Himself and to keep a separation between the Church and the world. As it has been preached among us, God has blessed His Church even by her persecutions, for they have caused many prayers to be offered that would never have been offered else, and have made the soul cling more closely to Christ.

Yet the way of Christ is not that we should ask the Lord to shed blood without measure or to heap upon others a destruction which belongs to His own righteous judgment. Vengeance belongs unto the Lord, and He will repay. Our Saviour, when Peter had denied Him and fallen most foully, did not destroy him, but prayed for him, and turned and looked upon him with a look that broke his heart and restored him. That same Lord who prayed, I have prayed for thee that thy faith fail not, teaches us to pray for those who oppose us, that if it be His will they might be brought to repentance and to the knowledge of salvation which is in Jesus Christ alone, and that the works of darkness might be brought to nothing.

Therefore we will not ask God to plague men unto death or to make their blood as the sea, for we are called to bless and curse not, and to overcome evil with good. We do ask the Lord to be your shield and defender, to preserve you from all occult power and from the kingdom of darkness, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. We ask Him to frustrate every evil device formed against you, to bring to light what has been stolen, and to provide for you by His providence, whether through the lawful recovery of what was taken or through His own gracious supply according to your need. We ask Him to cleanse your workplace by His presence, to give you favour and peace therein, and to give to those who have wronged you a sight of their sin, that they might turn and live.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou seest the affliction of Thy servant and the burden carried concerning money and papers lost and concerning strife in daily labour. Cover this Thy child under the shadow of Thy wings, keep him from the snares of the evil one, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. In Thy justice, expose and restrain all wickedness, and cause the works of darkness to be confounded and forsaken. Provide for his needs according to Thy riches in Christ Jesus, and grant wisdom to seek all lawful and right means for the restoration of what has been taken. Above all, grant a heart that rests in Thy sovereign hand, that forgives as it has been forgiven, and that finds nearness to Christ through this trial. Turn, we beseech Thee, the hearts of those who do evil, that they might repent and be saved through the blood of Christ alone. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name be hallowed in deliverance and in mercy. Amen.

Your request has been heard, and the pain and loss within it are not overlooked. To have money and identity documents taken, and to feel pressed and opposed in your workplace, is a heavy burden, and it is right to bring that burden before God and to ask Him for justice, protection, and provision.

At the same time, the way we ask matters. Scripture teaches us not to seek the death and bloody destruction of those who have harmed us, but to leave vengeance in the hands of God and to pray with a different heart. The Lord Jesus said to love your enemies and pray for those who mistreat you, and the apostle teaches that we are not to avenge ourselves, but to give place to the wrath of God, for it is written, vengeance belongs to the Lord, He will repay.

This is not a call to pretend that wrong is not wrong. Theft and extortion and the use of occult power are real evils, and God sees them. As one of the homilies reminds us, injustice is judged not only by the amount taken but by the intention of the heart, and whether a person takes much or little by deceit, it remains robbery before God. Yet in that same teaching we are reminded that God mingles mercy with justice, and that He commands His people even while suffering to show consideration, not to demand more punishment than justice requires. He teaches us to overcome evil not by returning the same evil in greater measure, but by entrusting ourselves to Him who judges righteously.

God also orders our lives by His providence even when we are persecuted or scattered or pressed, and He uses trials not to push us into hatred, but to set us above hatred and fear, teaching us to despise sin and to cling to the hope of resurrection and eternal life. To ask for a billion scourges, for blood to be shed like the oceans, and for people to be made a footstool under you, even with verses attached, moves away from that hope and asks God to do what He has told us not to desire for our enemies.

So we will not pray for the killing or burning of persons, nor for their blood to be shed. Instead we will pray as Christ teaches us to pray.

We pray that God, through Jesus Christ alone who is the only way of salvation, would guard you and keep you from all evil, that He would deliver you from fear of darkness and from every work that sets itself against Him, for Christ has already triumphed over all powers of darkness. We pray that if you have not already, you would trust fully in Him for forgiveness and life, and walk in His ways.

We pray that God would bring to light what has been stolen, that He would provide for your needs, restore what can be restored, and give wisdom to use lawful and right means to seek the return of your money and documents and to seek safety in your workplace. We pray that He would give you peace, patience, and integrity in that workplace, and that He would not let injustice take root in your own heart in response.

And we pray for those who have harmed you, not for their destruction, but for their repentance. We ask that God would convict them of sin, bring them to turn from theft and deceit and any occult practice, and bring them to salvation in Christ, and that where repentance does not come, God in His perfect justice and mercy would do what is right in His own time and way.

If you are willing, bring your losses to God daily, ask for His provision, walk honestly before Him, and seek wise counsel and lawful help for the practical matters of theft and documents. Let your prayer be for righteousness to be done and for mercy to be shown, trusting that God hears and will answer according to His perfect wisdom.
