We hear your cry for deliverance and we stand with you together before the Lord seeking His protection and His will in Jesus name. We understand the deep distress you feel from evil tongues in your neighborhood and among friends and family and in the workplace and the fear that comes from witchcraft and fetish and magic and the oppression that seems to come even through animals sent against you. We take these things seriously for the word of God tells us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities against the powers against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12 and that there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination or sorcery or witchcraft for whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Yet we must lovingly rebuke and correct the way this prayer has been framed. It is not biblical for us to pray for our foes to be killed and for their blood to be shed like an ocean or for them to be plagued unto death by our own curse. Vengeance belongs to God alone. Don’t seek revenge yourselves beloved but give place to God’s wrath for it is written Vengeance belongs to me I will repay says the Lord Romans 12:19. The Lord Jesus commands us to love your enemies bless those who curse you do good to those who hate you and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44 and to bless those who persecute you bless and do not curse Romans 12:14. We are also taught not to return evil for evil or reviling for reviling but instead bless 1 Peter 3:9. Even when we pray the imprecatory Psalms like Psalm 35:1 and Psalm 94:1 we leave judgment to the righteous Judge who sees all and we ask Him to do what is just and merciful.

You cited Exodus 22:18 and 1 Samuel 2:6 and Exodus 7:14-24 and Exodus 8 and Exodus 9 and Exodus 10 and Exodus 11 and Exodus 12 and Joshua 11:11 and 2 Chronicles 20:22-25 and Genesis 19:24. Those passages show God’s holy power to judge Egypt and the wicked cities and to fight for His people when they were powerless. In 2 Chronicles 20:15 the battle is not yours but God’s. We do not need to call down the plagues ourselves or ask for bloodshed. We can trust God to expose and disarm every work of darkness in His perfect time and to bring conviction that leads to repentance if possible. Our desire should be that those who practice evil would repent and be saved rather than perish for God desires that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9 and He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked Ezekiel 33:11.

We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved Acts 4:12 and that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved Romans 10:9. You did call on the name of Jesus in your request and we are thankful for that for Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. It is through Him we can submit ourselves to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7 and we can know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.

So we will pray together not for the destruction of people but for God’s protection over you and for the breaking of every assignment of witchcraft and for the silencing of evil tongues and for God to fight for you.

We pray together in Jesus name. Heavenly Father we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress our God in whom we trust Psalm 91:2 and that no weapon that is formed against us will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We ask You to cover our dear one with the blood of Jesus and with Your holy armor the belt of truth the breastplate of righteousness the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart Ephesians 6:14-16. We ask You to break and render powerless every work of witchcraft fetish and magic and every sanctuary of darkness let its power be reduced to dust in Jesus name for You have said You will bring to nothing the understanding of the crafty. We ask You to silence every evil tongue for death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21 and let no curse or slander prosper against Your child. We ask You to keep away and take away fear from rats cats dogs and every creature for You are sovereign over all creation. Lord we do not ask for the blood of our enemies but we ask for Your justice and Your mercy. If there are those who knowingly do evil against this person bring them to conviction and to repentance that they may be saved. Where there is need for judgment we leave it in Your righteous hands for You are the Judge of all the earth. Fill this neighborhood and workplace and family with Your peace and let Your light drive out all darkness. Give our dear one restful sleep and a sound mind for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but of power love and self control 2 Timothy 1:7. We declare that You will fight for us and we will hold our peace Exodus 14:14. We ask all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ our only hope Amen.

We hear how heavy and harassed you have been feeling, as if you are surrounded at home, at work, and even by people close to you. It is exhausting to feel watched or targeted in your own neighborhood, and we want you to know we are praying for your peace and safety.

We believe spiritual opposition is real, and it can leave us feeling fearful and on edge. At the same time we have learned not to give our fears more attention than they deserve, but to turn our attention to the nearness and protection of Christ. He is the one who guards us, steadies our minds, and helps us rest even when we do not understand what is happening around us.

It can help not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, we encourage you to share what you are experiencing with them in person so they can walk with you, pray with you, and help you stay anchored in daily prayer, reading Scripture, and fellowship with other believers.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift up our friend to You. We ask for Your protection over his home and heart, for quiet and safety where there has been turmoil, and for wisdom to know how to respond each day. Fill him with Your peace, free him from fear, and draw him close to You. Lead him in Your will and let him know he is held securely in Christ. Amen.

Your words reveal a soul deeply troubled and pressed by fear of those around you, and by a sense of being beset on every side. It is right to bring such burdens before the Lord, for He alone is our refuge and defense, yet we must learn how to pray as Christ would have us pray.

The Scriptures teach us that vengeance belongs unto the Lord. There is indeed appointed a day of vengeance for all the enemies of Christ, but that day is in His heart and in His hand, not in ours. When our Lord proclaimed the year of acceptance, He left the day of vengeance to the Father, and He taught us who bear His name to overcome evil with good.

You have asked that those you count as foes should be plagued and destroyed and their blood shed. Hear rather what the Spirit says to the children of God. There is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ His Son, that He may be feared. That forgiveness is unlimited and surprising and complete, blotting out sin as a debt forgiven and remembered no more. If you have received that forgiveness, you will have the fear of God put into your heart at the same time, not a servile terror of men, but a holy awe and love toward Him who has cleansed you by precious blood.

And because we have been so forgiven, we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven. The most splendid vengeance you can ever have is to do good to them that do you evil, and to speak well of them that speak ill of you. This is the doctrine which Christ Himself preached, that we should love our enemies, bless them that curse us, and pray for them which despitefully use us. Between the true believer and Christ there is a living, loving, lasting union, and that loving union constrains us to seek not the death of sinners, but their repentance and life.

We cannot join you in asking God to send plagues or death upon neighbors, friends or family, nor to call down bloodshed upon any. To pray so would be to ask what Christ forbids. What we may and do pray with you is this, that the Lord would keep you in perfect peace, guard your dwelling, restrain all evil and witchcraft and every work of darkness, and bring it to nothing by His light, that He would turn the hearts of those who trouble you, that He would grant you and them repentance and the knowledge of forgiveness in Christ, and that He would fill you with love that overcomes fear.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, with whom there is forgiveness that You may be feared, look upon this troubled heart. Forgive sin for Jesus sake, and give a new heart and a new spirit. Cover this life with Your protection, drive away fear, and let no evil have dominion. Work in neighbors and friends and all who are counted as foes, that they may come to know Your mercy. Teach us to love as we have been loved, and to live in that living, loving, lasting union with Christ which bears us safely through all temptation. Make us instruments of Your peace, that we may overcome evil with good, and give You all praise. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.

Seek the Lord Jesus while He may be found, rest in His finished work, and if fear and distress continue to press heavily, seek also the counsel and prayer of faithful pastors near you who may walk beside you and help you to dwell in the land in safety.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
