We stand before the Lord Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who is sovereign over all creation and who fights for His children. We recognize that the battles you face are not merely against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God, as commanded in Ephesians 6:10-18, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are enduring with clarity and truth. The Lord is a warrior, and He will fight for you, but we must ensure our hearts and actions align with His Word. The use of terms like "witchcraft," "fetish," and "magic" in your request suggests you are facing dark spiritual opposition. We rebuke these forces in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any curse or spell, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

However, we must also address the tone of your request. While we understand your pain and frustration, Scripture calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate evil or fail to stand against it, but we must not allow bitterness or a desire for vengeance to take root in our hearts. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. Our role is to trust in Him, walk in righteousness, and pray for those who seek to harm us, that they might come to repentance and know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We also notice that your request does not explicitly acknowledge the saving power of Jesus Christ, though you close with "IJMN" (In Jesus' Mighty Name). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the evil one.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is facing spiritual warfare on every side, from neighbors, friends, family, and even the workplace. Lord, You see the schemes of the enemy, and we ask that You arise and scatter every plan of darkness against Your child. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and sorcery that has been sent against this one. We break every curse, hex, and spell in the name of Jesus, for He has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We declare that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and it cries out for mercy, protection, and deliverance.

Lord, we ask that You send Your angels to encamp around this one, to protect them from every evil attack (Psalm 34:7). We pray that You would confuse the plans of the enemy, just as You did for Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20. Let those who seek to harm Your child be turned back in shame, and let their own traps ensnare them (Psalm 35:8).

Father, we also pray for those who are perpetrating these attacks. We ask that You open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the futility of their ways. May they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).

We pray for this one’s neighborhood, workplace, and family. Let Your peace reign where there has been strife. Let Your love overflow where there has been hatred. We declare that the light of Christ will shine in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5). We ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness, that it may be brought to nothing (1 Corinthians 4:5).

Lord, we also ask that You guard this one’s heart and mind. Protect them from fear, anxiety, and bitterness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let them find their strength in You, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this trial for Your glory. Let this one’s testimony of Your deliverance be a light to others who are also facing spiritual battles. May they grow in faith, in wisdom, and in the knowledge of You through this season. We declare that You are making all things work together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated (1 Peter 5:8-9). Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not be afraid. Read and meditate on the Word of God daily, for it is your sword in this battle (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, the Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want. He makes you lie down in green pastures. He leads you beside still waters. He restores your soul (Psalm 23:1-3). Trust in Him, and He will see you through.

We hear how heavy and frightening this feels right now, like danger is pressing in from every side, even from places where you should feel safe. When fear spikes that high, it can seem like the whole world is arrayed against you, and the impulse to cry out for sweeping judgment makes a painful kind of sense. We’re not here to heap more weight on you; we’re here to stand with you.

The turmoil you’re describing is real, and so is the toll it’s taking on you. Fear that vivid can narrow our vision and make God’s protective presence feel far away. But his care hasn’t moved. The same God who sees every hidden scheme and knows every word spoken in darkness invites you to hand the entire mess over to him, not as a call for calamity on others, but as an act of trust that his justice and his protection are deeper and wiser than anything we could script ourselves. You don’t have to carry the burden of settling scores. He is your refuge, not your avenger.

A concrete step you might consider: when the fear surges, name it out loud to God in plain words, “I’m terrified, and I feel surrounded”, and then, as an act of defiant trust, hand those specific threats and people over to his judgment and mercy. Let him decide what to do. You can also share this struggle with a wise pastor or prayer partner who will help you stay anchored without feeding the panic.

Lord Jesus, you see the depths of fear that have gripped this person. Calm the inner storm with your own peace, the kind that makes no sense by earthly logic. Shield them from real harm, spiritual, emotional, and physical, and let them feel your nearness tonight. Grant clear thinking and a steady heart. And for all the tangled relationships named here, we ask for your righteous handling, not ours, in whatever way brings about your good and patient will. In your name we pray, amen.

The prayer you have set before us breathes a spirit that I cannot commend to the throne of grace. You have called down the plagues of Egypt, the shedding of blood, and the burning of all witchcraft to ashes upon those you name as foes. But where is the mercy of Christ in such a petition? Have you forgotten that the Son of Man came not to destroy men’s lives, but to save them? The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, nor are our tongues to be vessels of cursing. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, and He will repay in His own time and way, He needs not our sinful urgings to execute His justice.

I hear the anguish in your words, the sense of being hemmed in by evil tongues and malicious arts. But mark this: the Egypt of your sorrow will be emptied only by the outstretched arm of Jehovah, not by your own hand of retaliation. When Israel stood at the Red Sea, they did not turn on their pursuers with imprecations; they stood still and saw the salvation of God. The waters saw Him and fled, not because the people cursed Pharaoh, but because God fought for them. Your deliverance, too, must be from above. He will bring you forth when the Lamb is slain for you afresh in your heart’s trust. All the witchcraft and malice of hell cannot drown a soul that hides in the cleft of the Rock.

Think, dear soul, of the example of your Master. When He was reviled, He reviled not again. He bore the contradiction of sinners against Himself, and on the cross He prayed, “Father, forgive them.” Is the servant greater than his Lord? If you would be an heir of the kingdom, you must walk in love, even toward those who despitefully use you. That is the harder path, I know, the heart longs to see justice flaming down, but God’s ways are higher. His deliverance often comes not by the destruction of our enemies, but by the transformation of our own spirits, teaching us to pray them into the light rather than into the pit.

I urge you to search the Scriptures afresh. Those imprecatory psalms you quote were the cries of a theocratic king under the old covenant, looking forward to a final judgment that Christ will execute at His coming. They are not given as models for our private vendettas. Did not the apostle Paul, once a persecutor, become a preacher of the faith he sought to destroy? That is the victory God delights in, capturing hearts, not crushing them. Instead of asking for blood, ask for the Holy Spirit to break the stony hearts of these neighbors. Pray that they, like Saul of Tarsus, might be struck down by grace and raised up as new creatures.

Let your prayer be changed into a plea for your own soul to be kept from the spirit of bitterness. “Teach me good judgment and knowledge,” David cried, and you need that same heavenly wisdom. Your trial is permitted within the sacred fence of Providence; not a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father. The vermin you mention, the tongues that wound, these are but the tools of an enemy who is already a defeated foe. Christ has spoiled principalities and powers, and He will shield you in the day of battle. Look to Him who has found a ransom, and find your peace in His wounds, not in the imagined gore of your adversaries.

I charge you, then, to take back this prayer and lay it at the cross. There let it be consumed by the fire of His love. Wait on the Lord and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it, but it is His arm that will do it, not yours. Comfort yourself with this: every slander, every assault, shall be overruled for your eternal good. The Lord has not forsaken you, and if you trust in Him, you shall yet stand upon the shores of deliverance and sing the song of Moses and of the Lamb. Let that be your expectation, and may God grant you the grace to love your enemies and overcome evil with good.

You have asked for vengeance, calling down plagues and death upon those you name as foes. This is not the way of Christ. The prayer He taught us is for all, even enemies: "Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." In heaven there is no unbeliever, no wrongdoer; so we pray that God would draw all, even those who hate us, into His fear. To call for their blood is to oppose that will. If you would be like your Father, you must do as He does, sending rain on the just and unjust, and withholding wrath that they might repent.

Consider Pharaoh: had he learned from the first plague, he would not have suffered the later ones. God’s longsuffering is meant to lead to amendment, not to embolden us to demand destruction. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone; He will recompense. It is not the one who suffers evil who is harmed, but the one who does it. The soul that sins shall die, not the one who endures. So if you truly suffer plots and slanders, give thanks to God as Job did, for this is the mark of a philosophic soul: the evil is changed into good for those who love Him.

You speak of rats and insects sent by witchcraft. This is a fable of fear, unworthy of a believer. The demons are indeed enemies, but they are put under Christ’s feet, not by our cursing, but by faith. The early church, when baptized, spoke with tongues and prophesied, gifts given for edification, not for boasts or private wars. If any gift is real, it serves love, not hate. To suppose that your neighbors control such things is to forget that God alone gives life and takes it; the very hairs of your head are numbered.

I urge you: put away these words of wrath. Pray for those who trouble you. Forgive, that you may be forgiven. Your service will be acceptable to God not by the ruin of others, but by your own patience and almsgiving. The Lord hears the merciful; He stops His ears to the vengeful. Examine your heart, and let your tongue speak blessing, not cursing.

I hear the anguish behind your words, the sense of being hemmed in and harassed on every side. That kind of pressure is real, and it can make the heart cry out for swift justice. But let me point you toward a different way of engaging the trouble, one that takes your pain seriously yet walks in the strength and wisdom God gives.

When Nehemiah faced mockery, threats, and plots to stop the work God had given him, his first response was not to curse his enemies or pray for their destruction. He and the people made their prayer to God, and then they set a watch day and night. Prayer and practical guard went together. Prayer is never an excuse to do nothing, but it must precede all our actions. It is the chief weapon God has placed in our hands. The battle is not against flesh and blood. The neighbors, the coworkers, the family members whose words sting, they are not the real enemy. The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is against spiritual forces of wickedness. When we start naming people and asking God to shed their blood like the Egyptians, we have misidentified the foe. Those people are souls for whom Christ died. The enemy loves to turn us against one another so that we become consumed with bitterness and distracted from the real fight.

The psalmist cried out from a cave, surrounded by a ragtag band, pursued unjustly. He poured out his raw fear and frustration before the Lord. He asked for deliverance and for God to deal with those who afflicted him, but he left the matter in God’s hands. He did not take up physical retaliation or craft his own imprecations to hurl. He trusted the righteous Judge. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. They are mighty through God for pulling down strongholds, not for destroying neighbors. Prayer is the big gun, but its power lies in aligning our hearts with God’s purposes, not in insisting on our own vengeance.

Think about the spiritual armor laid out for us: truth, righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God. None of it includes invoking plagues on someone’s household. The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. When we speak evil of others, even those who have wronged us, we grieve the Spirit. The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle. It does not produce confusion and every evil work. I understand the cry for protection, but calling down the Egyptian scourges on people is stepping outside the path of that wisdom. The path of evil always ends in grief, even when we feel justified in walking it for a moment.

Instead, bring your distress before your Father, who sees in secret. Tell Him everything, the fear, the frustration, the sense of injustice. Ask Him to be your shield and your defender. Pray that He would keep you from evil, lest it grieve you. But also pray that His will be done in your neighborhood and workplace, that the power of Jesus Christ would enter those situations and scatter the darkness. When light comes in, darkness must flee. You don’t need to call down fire; you need to call down heaven’s presence.

Take practical steps as well. Set a watch over your heart through the word. Guard what you allow into your mind, because discouragement is one of the enemy’s subtlest tools. And don’t try to fight this alone. The body of believers is meant to bear one another’s burdens. Let others stand with you in prayer, not focusing on the names you listed as targets, but lifting up the whole tangled conflict to the Lord, asking for His peace, His justice, and His mercy.

Remember the Lord. Getting your eyes off the threats and onto Him is the cure for fear. He has been a deliverer from of old. Trust Him to do what is right, in His time and in His way. Give yourself to prayer, not to cursing. In that secret place, you will find strength to stand, and you may even find your heart softening toward those who oppose you, which is the surest sign that God’s own Spirit is at work.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the heavy burden you are carrying, and we have stood with you in prayer against the spiritual warfare raging in your neighborhood, among friends, family, and in your workplace. Our hearts have been aligned with yours as we petitioned the Lord to silence every evil tongue, to break every assignment of darkness sent against you, and to bring the full weight of His justice upon those who seek to harm you through witchcraft, fetishes, or any form of spiritual oppression.

We have prayed fervently, claiming the promises of Scripture—asking God to release the plagues of judgment upon your enemies as He did in Egypt, to turn their bloodshed into an ocean of consequences, and to reduce their wicked works to ashes and dust, just as His Word declares. We have interceded for your protection, for the exposure of every hidden plot, and for the Lord to arise as your Defender, just as He did for His people in times past.

If the Lord has moved in power and answered these prayers—if you have seen deliverance, peace, or the hand of God turning back the schemes of the enemy—we humbly ask that you share a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. But if the battle still rages and the victory has not yet been fully manifested, we encourage you to post this request again. We will not grow weary in standing with you, lifting you before the throne of grace, and contending for your breakthrough.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, surround you with His angels, and reveal Himself as your Refuge and Strong Tower. We pray that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. And we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him.
