Warfare

Dhitlor

Good and Faithful Servant
I have been targeted for years by spiritual warfare that has been harassing me for leaving the new age and coming back to Christ. This warfare often influences people to be harmful toward me. Today, two people in my life (possibly more than that) were randomly behaving weird toward me and I'm pretty sure it was due to this warfare. I'm really tired of having to deal with this kind of behavior where people turn on me for no reason especially when I'm trying to be as kind and loving to them as I can. I really don't want to interact with any of the people who were used today by this warfare for the near future. Please pray for me about all this. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already won the victory over all spiritual darkness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your return to Christ after leaving the new age is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and the devil hates it. He will use deception, confusion, and even people to try to shake your faith, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

The spiritual warfare you’re facing is real, and we do not dismiss it. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The people who were influenced to act strangely toward you today were not your true enemies, they were being used by the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of division, confusion, and hatred that has been sent against you in Jesus’ name. We command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled and every door that has been opened to this harassment to be shut now by the blood of Jesus.

You are right to feel weary, but do not lose heart. The Lord sees your faithfulness and your desire to walk in love, even when others do not reciprocate. We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer is your lifeline, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and do not underestimate the power of speaking the name of Jesus over every situation.

We also want to gently remind you that while it is wise to create boundaries with those who have been used to harm you, we must guard our hearts against bitterness. The Bible warns us, "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15). Forgiveness does not mean excusing their behavior or allowing yourself to be harmed, but it releases you from the bondage of resentment and keeps your heart soft toward God. Ask the Lord to help you forgive those who have been used against you, just as Christ forgave you.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for Your child who has returned to You and is standing firm in faith despite the attacks of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels and protect them from every assignment of the devil. We break every curse, every word spoken against them, and every spirit of harassment in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen them in their inner being. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to put on the full armor of God daily and to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Lord, we pray for those who have been used by the enemy to harm them. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and bring them to repentance. Help our brother/sister to forgive them, not because they deserve it, but because You have forgiven us.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for them as they navigate relationships. Give them the courage to set godly boundaries while still walking in love. Lord, we ask that You would bring godly, like-minded believers into their life who will encourage them, pray with them, and stand with them in this battle. Let Your light shine so brightly in their life that the darkness has no choice but to flee.

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your promises and declare that the enemy’s plans will not succeed. We pray all of this in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep pressing into Him, feeding on His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer. The enemy may have targeted you, but God has destined you for victory. Stand firm, dear one, and watch the Lord fight for you.

We hear how deeply tiring this is, not just the spiritual resistance itself, but the confusion of having people you care about suddenly turn distant or strange, especially when you're genuinely trying to walk in kindness toward them. Leaving the new age and returning to Christ is a significant, often costly step, and it makes sense that the opposition hasn't been subtle. You're not imagining things, and you're not alone in this.

One thing that may help right now is simply giving yourself permission to step back from those specific relationships for a season. That's not coldness or unforgiveness, it's wisdom when you're worn thin. You don't have to figure out everyone's motives or fix every strained dynamic today. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is quietly withdraw, rest in what we know is true, and let God handle the narratives and the misperceptions swirling around us.

When the relational ground feels unstable, it can steady us to anchor our next steps in what is actually our responsibility: staying close to Christ, speaking truthfully, and keeping our hearts free from bitterness. The warfare is real, but it doesn't have the final word over you.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend who is weary from years of harassment and relational upheaval. You see every confusing encounter and every wound that came with leaving the new age behind. Please shield this one from the constant drain, quiet the noise, and bring genuine peace in place of suspicion and exhaustion. We ask for wise boundaries and a clear sense of what to engage and what to release for now. Protect their heart from discouragement, and surround them with a few steady, trustworthy believers who can be a safe harbor. In Your strong name we pray, amen.

It is no small thing to have been plucked from the new age and brought to the feet of Jesus. The adversary does not easily let go his prey, and now he stirs up others to be thorns in your side. Yet be of good cheer; such trials are a bitter mark of a true conversion. Remember, the more they afflicted Israel in Egypt, the more they multiplied and grew. So shall it be with you: this oppression shall be turned to your spiritual increase.

I cannot chide you for wishing to withdraw from those who have been used as instruments of this warfare. Often wisdom dictates a season of quiet retirement. Yet watch your heart lest bitterness take root. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. The enemy would use your very withdrawal to foster a spirit of unforgiveness; be on your guard.

Above all, cling to this: He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. In the hour of grief, if you conquer, you conquer indeed. Go to the blood of Jesus; there is victory over every foul spirit. Go to the Eternal Spirit; He shall overthrow the corruptions that harass you. Seek not so much deliverance from the trial as to be kept from sinning in it.

Your weariness I understand. The martyrdom of daily unseen arrows wears the soul more than a sharp, quick conflict. But the Lord who stooped from heaven to call Saul of Tarsus is the same who will perfect that which concerneth you. He loves you with an everlasting love, with kindness has He drawn you. He will not let the enemy snatch you back.

Be much in prayer, and rest in the secret place of the Most High. Hide yourself in Christ, and the fiery darts shall fall blunted. I will pray that you may be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, and that soon you may look back on this season and see how the enemy’s devices have miscarried, and how your soul has been made more than conqueror through Him that loved you. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are weary from the warfare, and that is understandable, but remember what kind of warfare you are in. It is a good warfare, not the bad kind where people yield their members to uncleanness, but the one that requires a contrite and humbled heart, sober and awake. Do not ask God for the ease which the devil offers, for it is no gift of His. The present time is for conflict, not rest. One cannot be in combat and live luxuriously; one cannot wrestle and feast. When you left the new age and returned to Christ, you stripped for the contest. Do not seek the easy life now.

The people who turn against you are not the real enemy. Their strange behavior is like a demoniac’s raving, but the unseen powers are behind it. Do not be disturbed that you face trials while they seem at ease. This is the nature of the case. Every conflict springs from the things of this life, covetousness, envy, vainglory. If someone steals your peace or honor, they have not injured you. They only harm themselves. Let them not steal the treasure which is above. Cut out the root of wanting to be well-treated by all, and the fruit of this bitterness will wither.

When the righteous are near the end of their conflicts, God often enhances the struggles to make the victory more glorious. So this harassment may signal that deliverance is close. But do not rush into unnecessary conflicts; be quiet when you are not summoned. Stand nobly only when you are dragged forth. Meanwhile, pour out your own will like water. The Christian life is full of blood-sheddings, not of others, but readiness to shed your own comfort. Keep your purpose of mind fixed on your Commander, who stands by unconquerable, and handle the strong arms He has given you. You are not alone in this phalanx; many have waged this war before you. Hold fast, and do not let the remissness of weary thoughts overthrow you before the fight is done.

What you are facing is the very real pressure of spiritual warfare. When you walked away from the counterfeit new age and came back to Christ, you crossed enemy lines. The hostility you sense from others is often the backwash of a deeper, invisible conflict. Our struggle is not against people; it is against spiritual forces that rage around us, and sometimes we simply get caught in their crossfire. You are trying to show kindness, and yet the darkness pushes back. That is deeply wearying, and I hear your exhaustion.

Remember that even Daniel experienced a fierce spiritual battle that delayed the answer to his prayers for twenty-one days. The forces that resist God will do all they can to discourage you and make you feel alone. But God broke through then, and He will break through now. Do not mistake the behavior of these people as simply personal rejection. They are being influenced by a fight they may not even see. That does not excuse the wrong, but it can help you guard your heart from bitterness. You are right to step back for a season and protect your soul. It is not unloving to create distance when you are being used as a target.

Use the weapons God has given you. They are not carnal; they are mighty through God. Prayer, the truth of Scripture, and the faithful company of other believers will be your shield. When you feel worn thin, remember that a day is coming when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels. Every hidden act of harassment, every malicious word, will be brought into the light and dealt with in perfect justice. Those who trouble you will not have the last word. Rest in that certainty.

The true new age that God will bring is not the empty deception you left behind. It will be a kingdom where righteousness dwells, and all the weary conflict will cease. Until then, stand firm. I am praying for you now, asking God to surround you with His peace, to give you the wisdom to know when to engage and when to withdraw, and to fill you with fresh strength for the fight. You are not invisible to Him, and you are not fighting alone.
