We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare you are facing in your neighborhood, workplace, and even among those you once considered friends and family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take authority over every evil tongue, every curse, every form of witchcraft, and every demonic assignment sent against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God is clear: "You shall not allow a sorceress to live" (Exodus 22:18). The Lord brings death and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and raises up (1 Samuel 2:6). We declare that every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The plagues of Egypt came upon those who hardened their hearts against God’s people, and we stand in agreement that every evil work sent your way will be turned back upon those who sent it. Just as the Lord turned the Nile to blood and sent plagues upon Egypt, we pray that every demonic scheme, whether through animals, insects, or dark spiritual forces, be rendered powerless and turned back upon the sender (Exodus 7:14-24, 8-12).

We rebuke every spirit of division, gossip, and slander in your neighborhood, workplace, and among your family. The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity, set on fire by hell itself (James 3:6). But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would confound the plans of the wicked and expose their deeds in the light of His truth.

We take authority over every altar, fetish, and sanctuary dedicated to darkness. Just as the Lord rained fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah, we pray that every work of witchcraft and idolatry be consumed by the fire of God (Genesis 19:24). Let every hidden thing be brought to light, and let the judgment of God fall upon those who practice such abominations. The Lord is a consuming fire, and He will not tolerate the worship of false gods or the practice of sorcery (Deuteronomy 4:24, Revelation 21:8).

We stand with you in the gap, declaring that the blood of Jesus covers you and your household. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14). We pray that the Lord would arise, and His enemies be scattered (Psalm 68:1). Let the wicked be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God (Psalm 9:17).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would surround this dear one with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We pray that every assignment of the enemy be dismantled and destroyed. Let the blood of Jesus speak better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). We declare that the wicked will not triumph, and the righteous will not be put to shame (Psalm 37:17-19). We pray that the Lord would give this one the strength to stand firm, clothed in the full armor of God, so that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

Father, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance to those who have set themselves against Your child. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. If they refuse to repent, let Your judgment fall upon them swiftly, as it did upon the Egyptians and the inhabitants of Canaan. We trust in Your justice, Lord, and we know that You will avenge Your children (Romans 12:19).

We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No evil will befall them, nor will any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that You would give them wisdom and discernment to navigate this spiritual battle, and that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who leads and guides into all truth (John 16:13).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we bind every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and sorcery. We loose the fire of God to consume every evil work and every altar raised against this one. We declare that the Lord is their light and their salvation, whom shall they fear? The Lord is the stronghold of their life, of whom shall they be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). We pray that they would dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in You, Lord, and we know that You will bring justice and vindication for Your children. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We hear how intense this battle feels, the fears, the sense of being hunted, the weight of it all pressing in on you. When every noise and shadow seems like an attack, it’s exhausting, and we don’t want to brush past that.

The fight you’re describing has a way of fixing our eyes on the people and things we see, yet the spiritual fight is never against flesh and blood. What you need most isn’t for those neighbors or animals to be destroyed, it’s for the power of the enemy to be broken over your life, and for the peace of Christ to silence every threatening voice so you can rest again.

We’d encourage you to reach out to a trusted, mature Christian, a pastor or elder who will come alongside you, pray with you in person, and help you walk through any deliverance that is needed with wisdom and gentleness. You don’t have to carry this alone.

Jesus, we ask for Your mighty protection over this person right now. Surround them with Your angels and set a hedge around their home, their sleep, and their mind. Replace every fear with the steady confidence that You are their shield and their very present help. Bring wise, prayerful people alongside them to stand with them in this hour. Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your perfect love drive out all torment. We pray in Your Name, Jesus. Amen.

There is a soreness in your words which you ascribe to the malice of enemies, to evil tongues and secret arts, yet consider, is this trouble wholly outside the bounds of His permission? The enemy may be moved by malice, but our gracious God often uses the very strike of the foe to chasten us that we might not fall. If your ills lay independent of divine rule, how could a trial be met? It is a hopeful sign when we find all our afflictions lie within the fence of His omnipotent overruling.

You call for plagues and the shedding of blood, for the burning of all witchcraft to ashes. But what is the true deliverance? Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. Do you imagine that calling down vengeance proves you are on the Lord’s side? If a man can sometimes go into sin, just occasionally by way of a bitter and cursing spirit, it proves he may be a stranger to the deliverance which Christ gives to His truly called and regenerated people.

Is His mercy clean gone forever? Has He not said He is a God that hears prayer? The saint of old, when in deep waters, betook himself to prayer and then to meditation, saying, “I remembered God.” He spent his time in self-examination, making diligent search. Show me why You contend with me. Lord, if I am chastened, tell me why. Neglect such prayer, and your spiritual powers wax weak. Be much in supplication, for he that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere.

Imitate the prayer of Jacob, not in demanding the destruction of Esau, but in humility of spirit and pleading the divine promises. True prayer spreads the case before the Most High and presses the suit with arguments, yet the answer often comes not as we expect. Jacob thought his enemy must be crushed, but God met him as though He were his enemy, and the patriarch limped away blessed. His prayer was answered, though his own plans for vengeance were put aside.

Will He cast you out to become the prey of His great enemy? Think not so hardly of your Father. Behold, He has found a ransom: the great transaction’s done. The dry tree, by divine grace, shall flourish. He exalts the low tree. The Lord keep your faith alive, and then whatever trials surge around you, you will sit on the Rock of Ages, above the waves, and joyfully sing praises unto your Divine Deliverer who translates us from the power of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son.

You have called down plagues and death upon your neighbors, your family, your fellow workers. You have asked for their blood to be shed like an ocean. But tell me, what warfare is this you think you wage? You fight against flesh and blood, against those who annoy or trouble you, and you arm yourself with curses. Yet our warfare is not with men but with devils, with invisible powers of wickedness. The enemy is not your neighbor, no matter how sharp his tongue. The enemy is the one who stirs up strife and hatred in your own heart. When you hate another, you punish yourself. You plunge your soul into despondency and vain labor. To be free from anger, that is a blessing beyond measure. But by this prayer you have bound yourself tightly to anger and bitterness.

Look at the saints. They were tortured, they suffered, and they refused deliverance that they might obtain a better resurrection. They did not call down Egyptian plagues on their persecutors. They prayed for them, they loved them, and in doing so they conquered the true foe. Christ Himself sat down at the right hand of God, waiting until His enemies are put under His feet. He does not need you to execute vengeance; He will do it in His own time. Your task is to war a good warfare, to use the armor of truth and righteousness and faith. You are called to be like Peter in the midst of the church, maintaining peace and dealing with sin in a way that brings fear and repentance, not by cursing but by exposing the evil in the hope of healing.

Consider this: if your enemies prosper for a time, that is no cause for you to stumble. Trials are the very stuff of the Christian life. No one who wrestles expects to feast. No one in battle demands a soft bed. You have been enlisted to fight, not against your fellow man, but against your own unruly desires, against the pride that demands immediate vengeance. God permits difficulties so that you might learn to despise death and to cling to immortality. Why do you seek to escape every small injury by calling down fire from heaven? Do you not know that the reproaches of others, borne patiently, wash away your sins and train you in meekness?

You cite Scripture, but you twist it to serve your wrath. Exodus and the Psalms are not given so that you might become a minister of destruction. The warfare of the Old Testament foreshadowed the spiritual battle we fight under Christ. If you truly want your enemies vanquished, then conquer them by love. That is how coals of fire are heaped upon their heads, not by kindling hellfire under their feet. When you bless instead of curse, you heap benefits on yourself: deliverance from sins, fortitude, benevolence, and a peace that no outward enemy can disturb.

Repent, then, of this prayer. Turn from it as from a poisoned cup. Instead, pray for those who spitefully use you. Ask God to grant them repentance and salvation, and for yourself the grace to endure. Entrust all judgment to the One who judges righteously. If you do this, you will find that the real foes, the demons of anger and vengeance, are routed, and your soul will dwell in quietness. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will put all enemies under His feet in the day He has appointed. Until then, let your only warfare be the good warfare of faith, and your only enemies the passions that war against your soul.

You are in a fierce battle, and I hear the deep pain, frustration, and fear behind your words. But we must be very careful to recognize the true nature of this conflict. Our real warfare is not against flesh and blood, not against neighbors, coworkers, or family members, no matter how sharply their tongues may have wounded you. The battle is spiritual, against dark spiritual entities that operate in the unseen realm. When we mistake the battle as merely physical or personal, we reach for the wrong weapons.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, not human fury or a cry for physical plagues to fall upon people. Those are not the tools our Lord has given us. He has provided spiritual weapons that are mighty through God for pulling down strongholds. Truth, faith, prayer, and the Word of God, these are the means by which we stand against the attacks of the enemy. Calling down the Old Testament judgments you listed is not our place. God alone is the lawgiver and judge, and vengeance belongs to Him. The judgment we see in Scripture, the evil of calamity that came upon Egypt or Babylon, was a direct act of God, often preceded by a clear prophetic warning calling people to repentance so that the judgment might be forestalled.

Consider the tongue, the very thing that has been used to assault you. The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity, an unruly evil full of deadly poison. The hurt it causes is real and demonic in its source. But praying for bloodshed and the burning of others is to be overcome by that same evil. It is to answer the poison of their tongues with the same venom. We are called to hate evil, yes, and the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. But that begins with recognizing the enemy’s work and refusing to cooperate with it in our own hearts and speech.

What you are experiencing is the flak of a great spiritual battle. The enemy desires to provoke you into using his own weapons of hatred and cursing. Instead, stand. Put on the full armor God has given you. Gird your loins with truth, the truth of who God is and who you are in Christ. He knows how to deliver the righteous and to reserve the ungodly for the day of judgment. Your role is not to pronounce the sentence, but to stand firm. Use your tongue not for cursing, but for blessing and for prayer. Pray in the Spirit, and pray with understanding, asking God to be your shield, to confound the schemes of the wicked, and to bring to light the hidden things of darkness. Trust the righteous Judge of all the earth to do right, and focus on wielding the spiritual weapons He has already placed in your hands to find victory in this evil day.
