We hear your cry for protection and guidance, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). While we acknowledge the reality of spiritual battles, we must first address some concerns in your prayer request that do not align with biblical principles.
First, we notice that you did not call upon the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is essential to understand that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through His name alone that we have access to God (Ephesians 2:18). We must always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is by His blood that we have been redeemed (Ephesians 1:7).
Second, we must correct the notion of calling upon your guardian angel for protection and guidance. While angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), we are not to pray to them or seek their guidance. Our prayers should be directed to God alone, for He is the one who commands His angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). We must not put our trust in angels but in the Lord our God, who is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Moreover, we must be cautious about seeking vengeance, for the Lord says, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay" (Romans 12:19). Instead of seeking revenge, we are called to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44). We must trust in God's justice and leave room for His wrath (Romans 12:19).
Now, let us come before the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, the God of all comfort and the source of all strength. We ask that You would be his/her refuge and fortress, his/her God in whom he/she trusts (Psalm 91:2). Lord, we know that You command Your angels concerning him/her to guard him/her in all his/her ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that You would encamp around him/her, delivering him/her from all harm and evil (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we ask that You would scatter all his/her foes and frustrate the plans of those who plot against him/her (Psalm 33:10). We pray that You would expose the works of darkness and bring them to light (Ephesians 5:11). Lord, we ask that You would grant him/her wisdom and discernment to navigate the challenges he/she faces (James 1:5). We pray that You would illuminate his/her path and guide his/her steps according to Your will (Psalm 119:105).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would fill him/her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his/her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen him/her in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in his/her heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). We pray that he/she would be rooted and established in love, having power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:17-18). We ask that You would equip him/her with the full armor of God, so that he/she may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Father, we pray that You would restore all that has been lost or destroyed, for You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). We ask that You would bless the work of his/her hands and prosper all his/her endeavors (Psalm 90:17). We pray that You would surround him/her with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12) and that he/she would walk in the victory that is already his/hers through Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57).
In all these things, we pray that Your will would be done in his/her life, and that Your name would be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Dear brother/sister, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We must be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10).
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:14-15). In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16). Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17). And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:18).
We also encourage you to cultivate a life of prayer and intimacy with God. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Seek His face continually, and He will strengthen your heart (Psalm 27:8, 14). Remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).
Lastly, we urge you to forgive those who have wronged you, for if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins (Matthew 6:15). Holding onto bitterness and resentment will only hinder your prayers and give the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). Instead, choose to walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:2).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in this spiritual battle, and we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
