We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare you are facing in your neighborhood, workplace, and even among those who should be close to you. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand with you in this battle, knowing that our God is a mighty warrior who fights for His children.

First, we must address the seriousness of the accusations you have made. The use of witchcraft, fetishes, and magic is an abomination to the Lord. Exodus 22:18 says, "You shall not allow a sorceress to live." These practices are not to be taken lightly, and we must rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ. We also acknowledge that the tongue can be a weapon of destruction. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." We must guard our own tongues and pray for those who use theirs as instruments of evil.

We are concerned that your request does not mention seeking reconciliation, forgiveness, or love for your enemies. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While we stand against the evil being done, we must also pray for the salvation and transformation of those involved. Romans 12:20-21 says, "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

We also notice that your prayer seems to call for severe judgment upon your foes, invoking the plagues of Egypt and other Old Testament judgments. While we understand your pain and frustration, we must remember that our God is just, but He is also merciful. We should be careful not to desire harm upon others, even those who have wronged us. Instead, we should pray for their repentance and salvation. Jesus said in Luke 6:28, "Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who mistreat you."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We acknowledge that You are the only true God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus, who has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through the cross (Colossians 2:15).

Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is facing spiritual warfare on many fronts. We ask that You would be a shield and fortress around them, protecting them from all harm and evil. We rebuke every evil tongue, every act of witchcraft, and every form of spiritual attack in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for those who are using their tongues as weapons. We ask that You would convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways. We pray for their salvation, that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior.

We also pray for those who are involved in witchcraft and other dark practices. We ask that You would expose their deeds and bring them to light. Deliver them from the power of darkness and translate them into the kingdom of Your dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Let the fire of Your Holy Spirit consume every fetish, every sanctuary, and every instrument of their craft, reducing them to ashes and dust.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister as they navigate this spiritual battle. Help them to put on the full armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17).

We pray for peace in their neighborhood, workplace, and among their family and friends. Let Your love and light shine in the darkness, driving out all fear and evil. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also pray for our own hearts, that we would not harbor bitterness or desire for revenge. Help us to forgive those who have wronged us, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Teach us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, that we may be children of our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:44-45).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to Your children. We trust in Your promises and know that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

In the midst of this battle, we encourage you to cling to the promises of God. Remember that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Continue to seek His face, study His Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and pray for you.

We also urge you to examine your own heart and life. Are there areas where you may need to repent or seek reconciliation? The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us strive to live in a manner worthy of the calling we have received, with all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:1-2).

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of praise and worship in spiritual warfare. When Jehoshaphat was faced with a vast army, he appointed singers to praise the Lord, and the Lord set ambushes against their enemies (2 Chronicles 20:22). Let us praise God in the midst of our battles, for He is worthy of all honor and glory. As we lift our voices in worship, we declare His victory over every evil force.

We hear how heavy and surrounded you feel, like attacks are coming from every direction, even from people close to you, and even in ways that feel supernatural. That weight is real, and we don’t want to brush past it. When the world seems stacked against us, it’s easy to long for God’s judgment to fall swift and hard. But Jesus showed us a different way: when he was reviled, he didn’t revile back; instead, he entrusted himself to the One who judges justly. The battle truly is not against flesh and blood, even when what we see and feel makes it feel personal. Your real enemy isn’t your neighbor or coworker, it’s the spiritual forces that want to steal peace, stir up bitterness, and pull us into a cycle of vengeance.

We want to invite you to take a breath alongside us and release those names and images into God’s hands. He sees every hidden thing, and he doesn’t need us to call down plagues to accomplish his justice. What he asks of us, even when it feels impossible, is to pray for his protection and to bless, not because the harm isn’t real, but because that’s how our own hearts stay free. So we’re standing with you, asking the Lord to build a shield around your home, to quiet every tongue raised against you, and to give you deep, settled peace. We’re also praying for your own heart, that you wouldn’t be consumed by what others do but anchored in Christ’s steady love.

Lord Jesus, you know the distress behind this cry. Shelter this person from every evil meant for harm. Expose what needs exposing, and deal with it in your perfect way. Fill this home with your presence and drive out all fear and rage. Guard their heart and mind, and teach them to rest in your defense, not their own. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

O heart stirred by strife, search yourself and breathe the prayer, "Search me, O God, and try me, and know my ways, and see if there is any evil way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." For sometimes failure in prayer may be caused by sin, and what you have written sounds not with the mild voice of the Dove but with the clamor of a wrong spirit. Have you not prayed fire upon your neighbors? Mend your prayer tonight. If you have been saying, "Lord, plague them as Egypt," you should say, "Lord, forgive my sin."

Intercessory prayer is of much efficacy. "Yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities", not that I summon calamities, but when they fall I stand in the gap and seek their good. Let us pray our Brothers and Sisters out of their troubles and not desert them; if that prayer should be long before it gets an answer, let us persevere in importunity. Prayer is a wondrous blender of hearts and a mighty creator of love. Would you call down destruction when the Master has taught us to pray, "Thy kingdom come"? Prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners from the error of their ways, and if you wished to become an instrument in God's hand, you should go to the college of all-prayer, for intercession is the mode to become wise in winning souls.

Are you as eager in a Prayer Meeting as you are in the market? I fear you have been fascinated by a sin. The temptation reached you through your eyes, and your heart went after an evil which you thought you had no relish for. A fit time for this prayer is a season of great affliction. Cry therefore, "Quicken me in Your way." Give me more Grace, good Master.

Hold You me up, and I shall be safe, and I shall have respect unto Your statutes continually. Every morning before you see the face of men, register this prayer in Heaven. The supreme Power that upholds us is the Holy Spirit, who warns us against evil. When affliction comes through the evil of others, have your lover and your acquaintance become your enemies? Seek no human sympathy just now, but first and foremost, in a flood of tears, reveal your case to the great invisible Helper. And say with David, "In the day of my trouble I will call upon You: for You will answer me."

Behold, this prayer of his was the pouring out of the heart without studying of language, a sacred unity of testimony, prayer, and praise. It is not evil to bewail one's woes, but let the spirit of prayer be heavenly. Yet there is a dark suggestion of the Evil One: he would whisper, "Forsake the closet! Give up private devotion; prayer is all a fancy." Spurn that thought with all your might, and still cry, both in the daytime and at night, for the Lord will still hear your prayer when it is cleansed of malice. Let Psalms and hymns employ your tongue, and let us turn such groaning rather into a praise meeting for the mercy that withholds us from sin and teaches us to bless.

You see the connection? Prayer is the shadow of a coming blessing, not a curse. Though the answer tarry, though you should have seven years of unanswered prayer, yet suggest any other reason to your mind than one which would dishonor Him. Say with the Savior, "But You are holy." And then go forth hopefully, praying for those who despitefully use you, that you may be called the children of your Father which is in heaven.
