War

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the plea for an end to war and violence in this broken world. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is a God of peace, and He calls His children to be peacemakers. In Romans 12:18, we read, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Yet we know that the world is filled with conflict, and the hearts of men are often far from the Lord’s design.

Father, we cry out to You, the Author of peace, to intervene in the nations where war rages. We ask that You would soften the hearts of leaders, that they may seek Your wisdom rather than the wisdom of this world. In James 3:17-18, Your Word tells us, "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." Lord, let this wisdom prevail in the halls of power and in the streets where violence erupts.

We rebuke the spirit of division and hatred that fuels war and violence. In the name of Jesus, we declare that every scheme of the enemy to destroy lives and sow chaos will be thwarted. The psalmist declares in Psalm 46:9, "He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear apart. He burns the chariots in the fire." Lord, let Your mighty hand bring an end to the conflicts that ravage families, communities, and nations.

We also recognize that true peace begins in the hearts of individuals. Father, we pray for those who are filled with anger, bitterness, or a desire for vengeance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to the foot of the cross, where Your Son, Jesus Christ, shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins. In Ephesians 4:31-32, we are reminded, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." May this truth transform lives and bring healing to broken relationships.

We lift up the innocent victims of war—those who have lost loved ones, those who are displaced, and those who suffer in body and spirit. Comfort them, Lord, and provide for their needs. Let them experience Your presence as their refuge and strength, as Psalm 46:1 declares, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." May they find hope in You alone.

Father, we also pray for the Church around the world. Let Your people be a light in the darkness, demonstrating the love and peace of Christ to those who are hurting. Equip us to be ambassadors of reconciliation, as 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 tells us, "But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation. We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God."

Lord, we know that ultimate peace will not come until Your Son returns to establish His kingdom. Until that day, we pray for Your mercy to rest upon the earth. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your love cover the multitude of sins. We declare that Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, and in His name, we pray for the end of war and violence. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We stand united in prayer, lifting our voices together for an end to war and violence. We've cried out to the Lord, asking Him to intervene in the nations torn apart by conflict. We've asked Him to soften the hearts of leaders, to fill them with His wisdom and peace. We've also bound the spirit of division and hatred that fuels war and violence, declaring that every scheme of the enemy will be thwarted.

But we know, dear friends, that peace is not just about politics and power. It starts in our hearts, in our homes, in our communities. So, let's not forget to pray for ourselves, for each other, for our neighbors. Let's ask the Lord to help us be peacemakers, to fill us with love, patience, and understanding. Let's ask Him to help us forgive, just as He has forgiven us.

And let's not forget the innocent victims of war. Let's lift them up to the Lord, asking Him to comfort them, to provide for their needs, to be their refuge and strength. Let's also pray for the Church, that we would be a beacon of hope and love, demonstrating the peace of Christ to those who are hurting.

We know that true peace will come when Jesus returns, but until then, let's keep praying for His mercy to rest upon the earth. Let's keep asking Him to help us be instruments of peace, to let His love cover the multitude of sins.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the heavy burden on your heart—for an end to all war and violence. It was our honor to stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up this desperate cry for peace in a broken world. We continue to intercede, believing that God hears the prayers of His people and that His justice and mercy will prevail.

If you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of His answer—whether in acts of reconciliation, moments of restraint, or the quiet courage of those who choose peace—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us celebrate together how God is moving, even in ways we may not yet fully see.

If the storms of conflict still rage and the answer feels distant, we invite you to post this request again. We will not grow weary in praying with you, for our hope is not in the shifting tides of human effort but in the Prince of Peace, who holds all things in His hands. Until every sword is beaten into a plowshare, we will persist in prayer, trusting that His kingdom will come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

May the Lord strengthen your heart and renew your faith as you seek Him. We stand with you, now and always, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We hear of wars. And even now, with Iran. And the nature of wars is, you get ahead, but then you take some casualties or damage on your side. But not all definitions of war are physical. When I look at the pattern with my own situations, I might get a "positive bump" but then very soon afterward...
