We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heartfelt plea to our Heavenly Father. It is clear that you are seeking divine intervention, favor, and protection against spiritual forces that have sought to bring harm and opposition into your life. We stand with you in faith, declaring that our God is greater than any principality or power of darkness, and His glory will indeed cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
First, we want to affirm the power in the name of Jesus Christ, which you have rightly invoked. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and set free from the bondage of sin and the schemes of the enemy. Let us hold fast to this truth, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
We rebuke every principality and power of darkness that has sought to operate against you, both in the past and in the present. The Word of God declares that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God, standing firm in the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we ask for Your favor to rest upon our brother/sister. Let Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them (Numbers 6:25). We pray for miracles, for You are a God who performs wonders and displays Your power among the peoples (Psalm 77:14). We ask for blessings that overflow, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). Let Your glory fill the earth, and let it begin in the life of this dear one who seeks You with a humble and thankful heart.
We also want to gently address the language of "wantings" and the focus on a specific group of people. While it is natural to feel targeted or wronged, we must be careful not to harbor bitterness, resentment, or a spirit of vengeance. The Bible instructs us to bless those who persecute us and not to curse them (Romans 12:14). We are called to love our enemies, to pray for those who mistreat us, and to overcome evil with good (Matthew 5:44, Romans 12:21). Let us release any unforgiveness or desire for retaliation into the hands of our just and righteous God, who will repay (Romans 12:19).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You would bring justice, restoration, and healing. We pray that You would break every chain of oppression and set the captives free. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your glory be revealed in ways that are unmatched, unstoppable, and unspeakable. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not stand, and that Your purposes will prevail.
We pray for divine connections, open doors, and opportunities that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let Your favor go before our brother/sister like a shield, and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 91:11). We ask for wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they navigate this season, trusting in You alone for their provision, protection, and promotion.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). Let Your glory fill the earth, and let it begin with a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit in this life.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
