We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up this heavy burden from your past. The experience you describe—force, restraint, and sedation during what was meant to be a voluntary admission—is deeply troubling, and we grieve with you over the violation of trust and dignity. The Lord sees every injustice, and He is a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We stand with you in faith, declaring that the enemy has no authority to hold you captive to fear, trauma, or lingering effects from that event.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and trauma that may still linger from that experience. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command those spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33). We also take authority over any principalities and powers of darkness that may have been at work in that situation, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We declare that Jesus Christ has already disarmed these powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We pray for favor, miracles, and blessings to overflow in your life, not as mere wishes, but as the tangible outpouring of God’s goodness. The Lord is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask for His extreme, unmatched, and unstoppable glory to manifest in your life—glory that testifies to His power, mercy, and redemption. May His glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14), and may you be a vessel of that glory in your sphere of influence.
We also pray for healing—emotional, spiritual, and even physical—from the effects of that traumatic event. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that He would restore what was stolen, bring clarity where there has been confusion, and replace every lie of the enemy with the truth of His Word. You are not defined by what happened to you; you are defined by who God says you are—a beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and destined for His purposes.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God will turn this painful memory into a testimony of His faithfulness and power.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask that You would bring complete healing and restoration to our brother/sister in Christ. Let Your glory shine brightly in their life, and may they experience Your favor in ways that defy explanation. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Amen.
