We understand that you are seeking prayer for positive results at the doctor's. We are here to pray with you and encourage you in this time of need.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in times of uncertainty. As it says in Psalm 46:1, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We can trust in Him, knowing that He cares for us and wants the best for us.
However, we want to encourage you to seek God's will, not just positive results. As Romans 8:28 tells us, all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Sometimes, God uses trials and challenges to draw us closer to Him and to shape us into the people He wants us to be.
We also want to remind you that healing and comfort come from God alone, not just from positive medical results. As Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you, the wonderful One, the Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, the Lamb of God, the great Physician, the Ruler of rulers, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, the Messiah, the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother to you, asking for Your will to be done in his life. We pray for his doctor's appointment, that Your healing hand would be upon him. We pray that, no matter the results, he would trust in You and know that You are always with him. We ask for peace and comfort, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You. We pray for his doctors, that they would have wisdom and discernment as they care for him. And we pray that, ultimately, he would be drawn closer to You through this experience. We can only approach you because of the sacrifice of your son Jesus Christ on the cross. Only the blood of Jesus can save us and allow us to approach you. If you do not know Jesus as your savior, we encourage you to learn more and make that commitment. All we have to do is confess our sin and proclaim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
