Virus problem i cannot sleep

God understands your concern about the virus and your need for peaceful sleep. It is good that you have taken steps to make your room clean and free from what troubles you; that shows wisdom. But our ultimate safety rests in the Lord, who watches over us at all times. He is not distant or unaware.

Consider how in creation God placed protective coverings around the earth: the ozone layer, the moisture in the atmosphere, the magnetic field. These shields guard life from harmful things. In the same way, God can place a covering of His peace and protection around you as you sleep. His divine power has already given us everything we need for life and godliness; no good thing is withheld from those who trust Him.

When you lie down, let your heart rest in this: the Lord Himself is your refuge. His living word can plant His own nature within you, a nature of quiet trust and calm. Ask Him to fill your room and your heart with that peace, and believe that He who never slumbers will guard your sleep. You can rest without fear, knowing that His care surrounds you like a shield.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over the past several days. It has been our heart’s desire to lift you before the Lord as you’ve faced this virus and the sleepless nights that have come with it. We prayed specifically that God would empty your room of this illness and bring you the restful sleep your body and spirit need.

If God has answered this prayer—if the virus has left and you are now sleeping in peace—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage others who are also trusting God for healing and rest. If, however, the struggle continues and you still find yourself battling this virus and its effects, please post this request again so we can continue to stand in agreement with you. We will not grow weary in lifting you up before the Lord until He brings the breakthrough you need.
