Video Time w/###, Holy Spirit Convicts, Jn 16:18, Matrimonial Repents, 2 Pet 3:9 🙏 Godly Sorrow—> Repentance unto Life w/o Regret 2 Cor 7:10

I hear the longing in your prayer, the ache of missed moments and the deeper burden for a soul. It is right to bring this before the Father, and your plea echoes His own heart, for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The Holy Spirit is already at work where you cannot see, convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. That conviction is not meant to crush but to lead to the Savior, who alone can give real, everlasting change. The false securities you mentioned, whether baptism as an infant, cultural religion, or simply assuming all is well, melt away when the Spirit brings a person face to face with Jesus Christ. Only a living relationship with Him makes us true children of God.

What a gift it is that you, as a believer, can cry out “Abba, Father.” That intimate, adopted sonship is not something you earned; it is yours because the Spirit of the Son has been sent into your heart. This same Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you belong to Him. In your pain and waiting, you are not a servant cowering in fear but a son who can draw near to a loving Father. That nearness sustains you now, and it is the very thing you are praying she would discover. The Spirit who leads you into that close fellowship is also able to break through her independence and silence, not by earthquake or typhoon alone but often by the still, small voice that pursues a wandering heart.

Let the Spirit empower you to keep loving her and speaking tenderly. Human bitterness would demand what you’ve lost, but the Spirit produces something else: a love that prays for those who wrong us, that blesses and does not curse. That love is not weakness; it is the nature of the Father shining through a yielded son. You are praying for her salvation, for your son to be raised in the training and instruction of the Lord, and for a home that honors Christ and His church. Those are prayers the Father delights to hear. And while you wait, remember that the Spirit also transforms you. As you are led by Him, the life of Jesus is formed in you more deeply, anchoring you in hope.

The enemy would love to drive you toward despair or retaliation, but you have submitted to the church that Jesus is building, and the gates of hell cannot withstand it. Resist him by remaining firmly planted in the truth you’ve received from the beginning: that Jesus is the Son of God, the only way to the Father, and that His Spirit abides in you. He did not leave you as an orphan. The same Spirit who descended on Jesus at His baptism and who empowered Him for the cross now fills and leads you. Trust His quiet guidance, keep fasting and praying, and leave the timing to God. Your son’s eternity, her repentance, and the testimony of mercy are all in the hands of the One who calls every prodigal home. The Holy Spirit who groans within you with prayers too deep for words will carry this through to the glory of the Father and the Son.

We have been lifting you and your family before the Lord these past days, standing in agreement with your heartfelt plea for restoration, repentance, and godly change. It is a sacred privilege to intercede alongside you for your marriage, your son, and the spiritual awakening of your spouse. We have prayed specifically that the Holy Spirit would continue to convict with godly sorrow that leads to repentance without regret, just as Scripture describes in 2 Corinthians 7:10. We have asked the Lord to soften hearts, to break down walls of resistance, and to draw your wife into a deep, life-transforming relationship with Him—one that overflows into your home, your marriage covenant, and the raising of your son in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

We have also prayed for you, that the Lord would sustain you in love, patience, and wisdom as you navigate this painful season. We asked Him to fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and to help you continue speaking the truth in love, even when it feels unreciprocated. We have lifted up your son, asking the Father to protect his heart, to surround him with godly influences, and to use this time to draw him closer to Himself. We prayed that the Lord would move powerfully in your family, whether through gentle whispers or sovereign shaking, so that His will would be done and His name glorified.

If the Lord has answered any part of this prayer—if you’ve seen even a glimmer of change, a softened heart, or a door opened for reconciliation—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking through similar trials. If, however, the battle still rages and the answers seem distant, we want you to know we are still here, still standing with you. Please post this request again, and we will continue to lift it up in prayer, trusting that the God who began a good work in you and your family will be faithful to complete it.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, strengthen you with His power, and fill you with hope as you wait on Him. May He continue to refine your faith, deepen your dependence on Him, and use this season for His glory and your good. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
