We join you in thanking our Father for His goodness and we bring your requests before Him together in Jesus name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And there is salvation in no other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved as it says in Acts 4:12. We are grateful you closed your prayer in Jesus name and we agree with you that not our will but His will be done, for this is the confidence we have, that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us in 1 John 5:14.

We thank God with you for your job and for His provision. We pray for your work and for the route you mentioned, that God would give you diligence, favor and increase as He wills. We do want to gently correct and encourage you regarding the desire for massive income and massive bank account balances. God does promise to supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19 and He does enlarge territory as He did for Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10, but His word also teaches us to seek first Gods Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil in 1 Timothy 6:10 and we are exhorted to be content with what we have and to keep our lives free from the love of money, for He has said I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you in Hebrews 13:5. We pray not from greed or presumption but for faithful stewardship, honest labor in Proverbs 21:5, and freedom from debt, for we are told to owe no one anything except to love one another in Romans 13:8. We claim with you that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail in Isaiah 54:17 and that if God is for us, who can be against us in Romans 8:31, and that He will give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways in Psalm 91:11, and that He will be our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1 and our hiding place in Psalm 32:7. The promise that you will be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath in Deuteronomy 28:13 is given in the context of walking in obedience to the Lord, so we pray for obedience and humility as you seek promotion and overtime, remembering also that God gives rest and that our identity and victory are ultimately in Christ, not in income.

We also lift up the man you mentioned who is facing jail time and addiction. We pray for Gods mercy, justice and transforming power in his life. We understand your desire that he not serve all that time and that his situation be turned around, and we ask for Gods vindication where there has been injustice, for the Lord executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed in Psalm 103:6. At the same time we must speak truth in love, for God is just and He does not vindicate unrepented sin. If there is guilt, we pray that your loved one would fully repent and accept just consequences while trusting that God can work even through discipline for good in Romans 8:28. We pray that God would indeed change him and make him a new creation, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and that if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed in John 8:36. We pray for complete healing from childhood trauma, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3, and for deliverance from drugs and alcohol, which are not merely habits or trauma responses but sins of the flesh that require repentance, the power of the Holy Spirit, and accountable discipleship. We pray he would walk in a straight path, that he would follow the Lord, be kept from returning to old ways, and never return to jail, and that he would be connected to a Bible believing church, godly mentors and counsel where he can be held accountable in Galatians 5:1 and Romans 6:22.

Regarding your relationship, we must address what does not align with biblical principles so you may be blessed. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as outlined in Genesis 2:24, and that marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed undefiled in Hebrews 13:4. If you are not yet married to this man, we encourage you to see your courtship as purposeful toward godly marriage to another Christian believer, for we are told not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:14. If there has been sexual intimacy outside of marriage, scripture calls that fornication or adultery and we urge repentance and a commitment to purity and self control in 1 Corinthians 6:18. True unconditional love, respect, loyalty and honesty as you prayed for are fruits of a Christ centered marriage where each seeks to serve the other, for love is patient and kind and bears all things in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and each should love and respect one another in Ephesians 5:33 and speak truth with one another in Ephesians 4:25. We pray God would help you both become better, not merely better versions of yourselves in your own strength, but transformed by the renewing of your minds in Romans 12:2, growing together in Christ with a strong bond that honors Him.

We pray together now. Father, we thank You for Your provision, for work, for daily bread, and for being our help, our shelter and our hiding place. We ask that You provide for every need, grant wisdom in stewardship, help us to be diligent and honest in labor, and keep our hearts from greed while You enlarge our territory according to Your will. We ask that You command Your angels to protect us, that You fight our battles, for You are for us and You go with us to fight for us against our enemies in Deuteronomy 20:4, and that no weapon formed against us will prosper. Lord, we lift up this dear brother who is incarcerated. Have mercy on him, Lord. If it is Your will and just, make a way where there seems to be no way. Above all, bring him to full repentance and faith in Jesus, heal his heart from trauma, deliver him completely from addiction, wash him and sanctify him in 1 Corinthians 6:11, set his feet on a straight path and keep him from returning to jail or to old sins. Surround him with godly counsel and Your word. Father, help the one who prayed also to grow in holiness, to love with purity, to be loyal and truthful, and to seek You first. If it is Your will, lead them into a godly marriage that honors You, or give clarity and strength to wait on Your perfect plan. Teach them to love and respect one another as You intend. We ask all this not demanding our own desires, but submitting to Your perfect will, trusting that You hear us and will answer for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We were moved by the gratitude in your prayer and the faithful way you are lifting up . Thanking God for daily provision and for being your shelter in trouble is a beautiful place to stand, especially while carrying concern for someone you love who is in jail.

We hear how much you want to see him healed from past hurts and freed from drugs and alcohol, and to walk a steady path when he comes home. Those struggles are deep and tangled, touching body, mind, relationships and spirit, so lasting change usually needs steady, layered support over time, not just a single moment. Alongside prayer, it can help to have trusted people walking with you both.

One next step that often helps is staying connected to a local pastor or a Christ centered recovery community where you can be encouraged and where can find support inside and after release, including a counselor or recovery group experienced with addiction and trauma. If he is willing, a chaplain or counselor where he is now may help him make a plan for the days after release. For you, keeping one or two steady companions to pray with and talk honestly with can strengthen you as you seek to love him well.

Father, we thank You for Your care for both of them. We ask You to protect , to bring healing where there has been hurt, to give freedom from addiction, and to guide his steps toward what is good and right. Give wisdom, patience and strength to our friend as she trusts You with the future. Lead them both closer to You day by day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your thanksgiving and your burden have been laid before the Lord, and it is well that you end with Not my will but Your will be done, for there our prayers find their safest resting place.

There is in your prayer a desire for deliverance, and I would point you to the greater deliverance which the Lord has provided. The Scriptures show us that deliverance from the pit is not found in our earnest claims, but in a ransom which God Himself has found and given. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has found it entirely in Himself, in the person and blood of Jesus Christ. So we must look for salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin.

You give thanks for work, for provision, for daily bread, and it is right to thank God for every good gift and to ask Him to be your Help, your Shelter and your Hiding place in times of trouble. Yet our truest enrichment is not in massive increase of goods, but in free grace. When He brought His people forth of old, He did bring them forth with silver and gold, but He would have us know that if we ever rise from despondency it must be of free grace only, and we can take no honor of deliverance to ourselves. Pray then not only for increase and for territory enlarged, but for a heart content to be faithful in little or much, to labor honestly, to owe no man anything, and to steward what He provides with diligence and integrity. To be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, is to be found in Christ, walking in His wisdom and obedience, and He will supply what you need according to His Fatherly will.

For the one who is in prison you ask that the Lord would turn his situation and make a way for his future. The Lord does hear the cry from the prison where the cold stone shuts in, and in the fourth watch of the night He can send light and deliverance. Yet the believer also learns to say, The Lord has chastened me sorely. Affliction and even just consequence for wrongdoing can be the very means by which God awakens the soul. Therefore we pray not simply that time would be shortened, but that God would do what is just and what is merciful according to His perfect will, and above all that He would grant true conversion and thorough healing. Childhood wounds and the bondage of drugs and alcohol are not healed by resolve alone. He must deliver from the power of darkness and translate into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance is experimental, He has delivered us, and it proves itself when a man no longer goes into sin by way of pleasure, but hates it and forsakes it. Pray that he may know that ransom, that he may be washed, and that when he comes forth he may walk in a straight path and never return to the pit.

You ask also to be made better, and to grow together in a bond of unconditional love, respect, loyalty and honesty. These are good desires, and they are only secured as each of you is first made right with God and then conformed to His design. The Lord has ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He has ordained that the union of love and the living together of man and woman belong within that covenant in purity and faithfulness. Any love that would be lasting must be built upon repentance, faith in Christ, and obedience to His Word. Seek therefore not only that you be better toward one another, but that you both be made new creatures in Christ, that you may strengthen one another as those who have been restored.

Think of Peter. He was down, but he was soon up again, and his restoration was brought about by a look from the Lord which severed him from the crowd and broke his heart into repentance. That look, and the crowing of the cock which recalled the Word of Christ, brought bitter weeping and then full assurance when the Lord again charged him to feed His sheep. If you have wandered or fallen back, pray for such a look from Christ, that you may be turned again to your old hope and then be able to strengthen your brethren. He is able to uplift from among the siftings where Satan has thrown you.

So let us pray together. O Father, we thank You that You are our refuge and that no weapon formed against Your people shall finally prosper against Your purpose for them. We ask You to have mercy upon these two souls. Bring each to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and find in Him the ransom for sin. Deliver from the guilt and from the power of sin, heal the wounds of the past, break the chains of addiction, and teach both to walk in holiness, honesty and self control. Command Your providence to protect and to provide as seems good to You, give daily bread, give wisdom to be debt free and to labor faithfully, and let all increase be used for Your glory. Order their lives and their love according to Your holy Word, that if they walk together it may be in purity, faithfulness and truth within the covenant You have ordained. Vindicate the cause of righteousness, fight the battles that belong to You, and let Your will be done in work, in trial, in prison and in freedom. Grant that after affliction they may live and declare the works of the Lord, giving all honor to free grace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received and we join you in bringing it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to God.

We hear your thanksgiving for work and provision, and we give thanks with you that God is our help, our shelter and our hiding place in times of trouble. He does not need our praise to be enriched, for as the sun gains nothing from a candle, so God gains nothing from us, yet He desires our thanksgiving and our trust so that we may be saved and may have life. That is the greatest increase He gives. We pray that He will provide for your daily needs, give you strength to labor faithfully, and teach you to be a good steward of what He entrusts to you. The Scriptures do not promise massive wealth to all who ask, but they do promise that God will supply what we need, that He calls us to be sober, temperate and content, to work honestly, to pay what we owe, and to find our true abundance in Christ. We pray for wisdom with your routes, your hours and your debts, that you may walk in diligence and integrity and that your territory may be enlarged first of all in faith, love and holiness.

We also lift up the one you love who is in jail. We pray for God's mercy and God's justice together. We do not ask that wrong be overlooked, but that God would do what is right and good for his soul. We pray that the Lord would bring him to true repentance and faith in Christ, that He would heal the wounds of childhood, break the power of drugs and alcohol, and set him on a straight path. We pray for his protection, for deliverance from every habit that has bound him, and for grace never to return to that way of life or to that place. May God make him a new man in Christ, not only for the sake of your relationship but for the sake of Christ Himself, so that whether he is released soon or serves the time appointed, his life may be ordered toward the Lord.

For you also we pray that God would make you more like Christ, and that He would teach you both what real love is. Love is patient and faithful, it does not seek its own way alone, and it rejoices in what is true and pure. The Church is like a small household, and God calls each of us to rule our own house well with gravity and self control, so that our lives at home show the order and grace we profess before Him. We pray that you both will grow in unconditional love, respect, loyalty and honesty as God defines these things, and that you will pursue what is holy in His sight. If you are not yet joined together in the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and to walk in purity, not living together outside of marriage, but honoring God with your bodies and your commitment. If you are married, we pray that God will strengthen that covenant and make it a picture of Christ's faithfulness. In either case we do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we ask Him to lead you both into what is pleasing to Him, so that your bond may be built on obedience to His Word.

We pray that no weapon formed against you will finally prevail, not because we claim prosperity as a right, but because we trust that God is for those who are in Christ and that He fights for His people according to His perfect will. He commands His angels and He remains sovereign over the future. We place your work, your finances, your loved one, and your relationship into His hands, saying with you, not our will but Your will be done.

Father, have mercy on these two souls. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus, heal what is broken, deliver from addiction, provide for need, and guide every step into holiness. Make them sober and watchful, faithful in small things, and rooted in Your Church where they can be taught and held accountable. Let Your name be honored in their lives and let them know the victory that is found in belonging to Christ. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
