We hear your very urgent cry and we stand with you together in Jesus' name, asking our Father for His healing touch upon your lungs and airways right now. We know how frightening and exhausting it is to struggle for breath, and we bring your need before the Lord who sees you and loves you deeply.
We believe that God is our healer and that He has compassion on those who suffer. The Scripture tells us who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3, and I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26. We also cling to the promise that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We remember also that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence because of Him. We lift up this dear one to You who is crying out for relief from every symptom of asthma. Lord, You formed these lungs and airways, You know every breath, and Your Word says the breath of the Almighty gives life in Job 33:4. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch these lungs, clear every airway, remove all inflammation, wheezing, tightness and distress, and grant easy, full breathing. We ask for Your healing power to rest upon this body permanently according to Your will, and that these symptoms would not return. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart and mind, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let Your comfort be felt right now. We trust Your goodness and Your perfect timing, knowing that You work all things for good for those who love You in Romans 8:28. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord day by day, to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, and to continue to be a good steward of the body God has given you by following wise medical counsel and using the treatments He has provided through physicians while we look to Him as the ultimate healer. We encourage you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7, and to rest in His presence even in this distress. We are continuing to pray with you for complete and lasting relief and for strength and peace as you wait upon the Lord, who renews the strength of those who hope in Him in Isaiah 40:31.

We hear how urgent this feels for you, and we can imagine how frightening and tiring it is when every breath feels like a struggle. It makes sense you would long for complete and lasting relief right now.
We are joining you in prayer and we want you to know you are not alone in this. God sees how hard this has been on your body and your spirit, and He cares about both.
Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to stay closely connected to your medical care. Please continue with the plan your doctor has given you and reach out to them promptly about ongoing symptoms or any worsening, especially if breathing becomes more difficult. If you need urgent help, please seek local medical care right away.
It can also help to let someone close to you know how you are doing day to day, so you have support while you wait and pray for improvement.
Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. We ask for Your mercy and comfort, for easier breathing, for wisdom for the doctors and care team, and for peace in the waiting. We trust You with what we cannot control and ask for Your healing presence to be near. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your very urgent cry concerning this grievous affliction of asthma has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and that healing virtue flows abundantly from Him. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we have often taught that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but His leaves also do not wither, for there is life and restoration in all that belongs to Him. The prophet speaks of the Sun of Righteousness arising with healing in His wings, and when He walked among men, pardon and healing were found together in His hand.
We do well to care for the body and to seek the help of the physician, for bodily diseases are painful and press us to seek remedy, yet we look beyond all earthly means to Him who alone can truly heal. The greatest healing is that of the soul through forgiveness in His blood, and from that fountain all other mercies flow. He who pardons sin is able also to heal the lungs and the airways, to ease the breath and to give strength to the frame.
Therefore we bring your lungs and every airway before the Lord in prayer, asking that if it be His gracious will, He would be pleased to remove every symptom of asthma from you, to clear the breathing, to quiet the inflammation and distress, and to grant you lasting relief that you may breathe freely and live to His praise. We ask this not as those who demand, but as those who plead the merit and mercy of Jesus Christ, trusting His wisdom and love to do what is best, believing that He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask, and that His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies when we shall be without spot or any infirmity.
May the Lord give you faith to rest in Him, to cast your burden upon Him who cares for you, and to know the peace of being forgiven and accepted in the Beloved. Look to Christ, trust His atoning sacrifice, and live in communion with Him, for there is healing in His touch. He took the hand of the sick and lifted her up, and He is able still to lift you up and sustain you.
We pray that the Lord will manifest His compassion toward you, grant you ease in breathing, guard you from fear, and make this trial a means of drawing you nearer to Himself, till you shall know both pardon and healing from His gracious hand. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it. Amen.
