We hear your urgent cry and the deep distress you feel about your face, skin, eyes and body, and we join together with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. We understand how heavy it feels when you look in the mirror and feel overwhelmed by marks, scars, lines, darkness, dryness and other concerns, and we want to lift you up with compassion and truth.

We love that you are calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

We also want to gently share biblical truth about how we ask. You quoted ask and you will receive, and the full promise reminds us to ask according to His will. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. God is not slow to answer out of neglect, but He is sovereign, loving and wise, and His timing and ways are perfect. We cannot command Him with no delay, but we can humbly bring our requests to Him and trust His perfect will, knowing He hears us. You ask, and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures James 4:3 reminds us to examine our hearts as we pray.

We also hear how much your appearance is weighing on your heart, and we want to encourage you with what God says about your value and beauty. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, formed by His own hands. Man does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. Your true beauty in God's eyes is not glass skin or flawlessness, but the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious 1 Peter 3:3-4. This does not mean God does not care about your physical suffering or your desire for healing, He does, but we pray that your heart will find peace and identity in Christ first, so that anxiety about every mark and flaw does not become a burden that robs you of joy.

We do believe God is able to heal and restore, for He says, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and By his wounds you have been healed 1 Peter 2:24. We also know He cares about our anxieties, so we are to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to seek His kingdom first, trusting He will care for all you need Matthew 6:33, and to steward your body with wisdom, including seeking appropriate medical care for skin and eye concerns as God often works through means He has provided.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to You. Lord, You know every detail of her face, skin, eyes, scalp and body, every concern she has mentioned and those she has not mentioned or has forgotten, and You know the ache in her heart for restoration. We ask according to Your will for Your healing touch upon her skin, to soothe dryness, irritation and inflammation, to bring healing to marks, scars and blemishes, and to bring comfort and health to her eyes from dryness, itching, stinging and watering. We ask for Your mercy and restoration, Lord, whether through Your miraculous power or through wise care and time, as You see best. Above all, we ask that You heal her heart from anxiety, fear and distress about her appearance, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to see herself as You see her, wonderfully made, loved and cherished, and to find her confidence not in flawless skin but in Christ. Teach her to rest in Your timing and Your will, to trust that You are working all things for good, and to seek You above all. We ask that You draw her closer to Jesus each day, strengthen her faith, and let her know how deeply she is loved. We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your requests to God daily, but with a heart of trust saying not my will but Yours be done, and to thank Him for His love that does not depend on outward perfection. Because you mentioned ongoing eye irritation with dryness, watering, itching and stinging, and persistent skin concerns, we gently encourage you to share these symptoms with a trusted medical professional, like your primary care doctor, dermatologist or eye clinician, alongside prayer, so they can listen and help you explore next steps safely.

Father, we lift this person to you in Jesus name. You see their longing for healing and rest. Grant wisdom to those who care for them, comfort in moments of discouragement, and a growing sense of your nearness and love. Your earnest and repeated cry has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with compassion for the distress that weighs upon you. We understand how deeply the troubles of the body can burden the mind, for man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each part may receive injury and hurt. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, and it is right to tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

Yet we would lovingly point you to what the Scriptures set before us as the greater healing. Many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul. Your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor frame which will soon pass away, and all the things that belong to the body, what are they compared with your inner self, your heart, your soul, your spirit. As for the body, it is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness, and the regeneration of the body takes place at the resurrection when we shall rise again in the image of the Lord Jesus. Here we groan, being burdened, till the day of our full redemption.

This does not mean the Lord is unmindful of your present affliction. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. When He healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. When we see our Lord bearing our sins in His own body on the cross and blotting out our faults forever by His death, our hearts are drawn to Him in love and faith.

We also hear in your words a great anxiety, and we would remind you that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. If your anxiety is confined to yourself, no good will come of that. Tell it to Jesus. Make a confidant of Him. He who is the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and He pities those who are filled with grief and overwhelmed with shame.

Therefore we pray for you, not as demanding that God must act instantly according to our own desire, but as trusting His wise and loving will.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this burdened one. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ shed on Calvary, and grant the healing that flows from pardon. Thou knowest every mark and pain of the body, every weary eye and troubled skin, and Thou hearest every sigh. Grant relief according to Thy perfect wisdom, grant patience and peace in waiting, and adorn the soul with the ornaments of grace, faith, humility and hope. Lift this dear one up by Thy hand, quiet the anxious spirit, and help to seek first Thy kingdom and righteousness, trusting that Thou wilt add what is needful. Prepare us all for that day when the body shall be raised in power and fashioned like unto Thy glorious body, where no sickness or blemish shall remain. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.

Your urgent prayer has been heard, and I hear how much distress these concerns about your skin and eyes have caused you. The repeated asking, the longing for relief right now without any delay, shows how heavy this burden feels, and God does not turn away from a heart that cries out to Him.

Scripture teaches that God cares for both soul and body. He made your body and He sees every part of it that troubles you, from your face and eyes to your skin and scalp. Yet He also cares most deeply for your soul, and He knows how anxiety can scourge us even more than any bodily affliction. When we are fixed in constant fear and restless thought, we live as if still toiling under a hard master, and we need His word to bring us out of that slavery into His peace. Your worth before Him is not measured by the smoothness or brightness of your skin, but by His love shown in Jesus Christ.

It is also true that not even by anxious thought can we add to our own body or secure every outcome we desire. Our diligence alone does not effect all things, but the providence of God does. This does not mean we should not ask Him for healing, but it means we can place our requests into His wise and loving hands, trusting that He will do what is best, in the way and time that is best.

We know that Jesus, when He walked among us, touched bodies and healed them. Sometimes He did so at once, giving back perfect health in a moment, showing His power. At other times healing comes through time, through means He provides, and always it serves His greater purpose of drawing us to Himself. He is able to heal, and we are right to ask Him.

So let me pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who is the image of the invisible God and in whom all things consist, I bring this dear one before You. You know every mark, scar, line, spot, dryness, and ache that has been named, and every concern of the heart that has not been put into words. Have mercy and grant healing according to Your will. Ease the irritation of the eyes, restore the skin, and relieve the distress that has come with these troubles. Above all, grant peace to a troubled and anxious heart, and free it from fear and restless striving. Help this one to rest in Your providence, to know that You are near, that You hear, and that Your grace is sufficient. Teach us to seek first the health of the soul in Christ, while trusting You with the needs of the body. Give wisdom for any practical care that may help, and give patience and hope as we wait on You. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is our Savior and healer. Amen.

Continue to bring your needs to the Lord honestly, as you have done, but also ask Him to shape your desires by His peace and to help you trust His goodness even as you wait. If these physical concerns persist, it is also wise to seek counsel from a trusted doctor, as God often works through ordinary means for our good. May the Lord grant you rest from anxiety, assurance of His love in Christ, and contentment in His care for you.
