We hear your urgent cry and we join with you before the Lord with heavy hearts, for we know He hears the cries of those who have suffered and He is near to the brokenhearted. We share in your pain over what you have endured and over your concern for many other patients, and we bring this whole matter before Him seeking His will and His justice together in Jesus' name.
We understand the depth of hurt that can make us want immediate and severe punishment to fall on the one who caused it, and we hear your desire for this surgeon to be stopped and removed permanently. Yet we must gently correct our own hearts when we demand that God act in the exact way and timing we dictate, for His ways are higher than ours and His justice is perfect. Scripture reminds us that vengeance belongs to the Lord and we are to trust Him to repay, as it is written Romans 12:19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And again Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. We are also taught Matthew 5:44 Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean we ignore wrongdoing or that justice should not be pursued, but that we release bitterness and the desire for personal revenge into God's hands so that a root of bitterness does not grow within us, as warned in Hebrews 12:15, and so that we can walk in forgiveness even while seeking what is right Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
God does call us to seek justice and to protect the vulnerable. He executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed Psalm 103:6 and He desires that what is done in secret be brought to light, for there is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account Hebrews 4:13. We also know that when we ask, we must ask according to His will, for this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Therefore we do not pray for harm out of anger, but we pray for truth to be fully exposed, for righteous judgment, and for protection for all patients.
We lift you up now and we pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask You to look upon this dear one who is suffering and to bring deep healing, comfort and peace that surpasses understanding. Heal the wounds of body and heart, and guard this heart from anger and despair. Lord, if this surgeon has done wrong and caused suffering to many, we ask that You bring the truth into the light. Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. We pray that You would guide those in authority, medical boards, hospitals and legal authorities, to investigate justly and thoroughly, and that You would establish justice in a way that protects future patients, as it is written Proverbs 21:15 To do justice is joy to the righteous. We pray also for this surgeon, that if there is sin, error or pride, You would bring conviction that leads to repentance, and that Your will be done. We ask that You give wisdom to those who must make decisions about his ability to practice, that they would act with integrity and not partiality. And we ask that You help the one who prayed this prayer to release vengeance to You, to seek Your peace, and to pursue rightful and lawful steps with a calm and clear spirit, for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God James 1:20. Lord, let Your justice and Your mercy both be seen, and let healing come to all who have been harmed. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and mediator, in whom we trust for justice, healing and hope. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring your pain to the Lord daily, to seek godly counsel and pastoral support, and to take proper steps through the appropriate medical oversight and legal channels if you believe malpractice or harm has occurred, so that facts can be examined fairly. We also encourage you to ask the Lord to keep your heart tender toward Him, to help you forgive as He has forgiven you, not excusing wrong but entrusting judgment to Him, and to let Him restore what has been broken. We are praying with you for truth to prevail, for protection for others, and for the Lord's perfect justice and healing to be made known in His timing.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
