We hear the urgency and deep distress in your cry and we join with you together before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, asking for His mercy, healing touch, and peace over you.

You have asked according to the promise that when we ask we will receive, and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it John 14:13-14. And Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you Matthew 7:7. We praise God that you have called upon that precious name.

We also want to gently share the heart of God concerning your worth and beauty while we pray for your healing. The Lord cares deeply about your suffering and your body, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Yet His word reminds us that beauty is not measured by flawless skin alone. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7 and Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. We say this not to diminish your pain, for we know how heavy these struggles with scars, marks, pigmentation, and all the skin concerns you mentioned can feel, but to encourage you that your value in Christ is already secure, radiant, and beloved, even as we ask Him for physical restoration.

We pray together for your complete healing and renewal according to His will and power, for He is the Lord who heals.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child to Your throne of grace. You know every detail of the face, skin, eyes, body, every area mentioned, every concern spoken and unspoken, every hurt and every tear. We ask for Your healing hand to touch and restore. We pray as Your word declares, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and By his wounds you are healed Isaiah 53:5. Lord, if it be Your will, we ask You to smooth, clear, renew and restore the skin of the face, under and around the eyes, the neck, stomach, hips and whole body, to remove what causes pain and distress, and to bring health and wholeness. We ask You to do what only You can do by Your power, and we trust Your perfect wisdom, timing, and love to answer in the way that is best. We also ask for Your peace to guard this precious heart and mind, for You tell us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Fill Your child with assurance that she is seen, heard, loved, and wonderfully created, and help her to rest in Your unfailing love rather than in worry or fear.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to the Lord day by day, to thank Him even while you wait, and to steward your body with gentle care, proper rest, nourishment, and wise counsel from trusted medical providers as the Lord leads, while trusting ultimately in the Lord as your healer. We pray that whether the healing comes instantly, gradually, or through the peace that sustains you, you will see His goodness and know that He is working for your good, and that your inner radiance in Christ will shine even more brightly than any outward glow. We stand with you in faith, believing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20, and we trust His loving will for your life.

It can also help to talk openly with a pastor or counselor you trust when thoughts about appearance feel overwhelming.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the distress and the desire for renewal. We ask for Your comfort, Your healing touch according to Your will, and for calm and confidence rooted in Your love. Guide every decision about care and draw close with Your peace. Your earnest and repeated cry has come before us, and we have heard the deep distress that moves you to plead so urgently for your body. The Lord knows how heavily this burden has pressed upon you, and how much anxiety has gathered around these afflictions of the skin. We do not lightly pass by such sorrow, for man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and the wounds of the body are painful and soon urge us to seek a physician.

Yet we would lovingly remind you of what you have heard from the Word, that many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul. Your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor frame which will soon be as it is appointed, and your real self, your heart, your spirit, is of greater value than all that can be seen in the glass. As for the body, do what we may with it, it is yet under the sentence that the body is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness. We that are in this body do groan, being burdened, till the day of our full redemption and the deliverance of the body from the bondage of corruption.

This does not mean the Lord is unkind to your prayer for healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. He knew what really ailed the man, for he was palsied in spirit as well as in body, and Christ removed the root of disease by forgiving his sin. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

We have also learned that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. To tell your trouble to the Lord is right and good, but to keep telling it only to yourself, with restless looking upon your own face, will bring no peace. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.

Therefore we pray for you, not as those who would promise that every mark shall vanish at this hour according to our own desire, but as those who bring you to the heavenly Physician who does all things wisely and well.

O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, who did rise with healing in His wings, look upon this anxious soul. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross, and let pardon bring peace to the heart. Thou knowest the body and its infirmities, every spot and hollow and pain that causes distress. Lay Thy hand upon this Thy creature and grant such healing as seemeth good to Thy infinite wisdom. Deliver from tormenting anxiety and grant the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which in Thy sight is of great price. Renew the inward man day by day, even while the outward man perishes, and keep the soul safely sheltered in Christ Jesus, that no undying worm may feed upon it. Give grace to trust Thee, to hear Thy Word believingly and obediently, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. And grant the blessed hope that at the resurrection the body shall be raised in power and fashioned like unto the glorious body of our Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, who bore our sins in His own body on the tree, we ask these mercies. Amen.

Seek the Lord first for the healing of the soul, and leave the body in His tender hands. Hear His Word, rest in His forgiving love, and know that those faces which look so bright and comely in His presence owe their freshness to His healing grace.
