We have heard the urgency and depth of your cry and we join with you now to bring every detail of your burden before our heavenly Father in Jesus' name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and by which we can approach God with confidence as it is written, John 14:6 and Acts 4:12.

We lift up your whole body to the Lord, your face, your skin, your eyes, your stomach, hips, legs and arms, and every concern you have mentioned about marks, scars, dents, texture, dryness, sensitivity, allergies, pigmentation, lines, wrinkles, veins, spots, eye dryness, tiredness, itching and stinging, and all the heaviness you feel about bloatedness and sagging skin. We know how distressing these things can feel and we know that God sees and cares about your suffering, for He is the One who heals us as it says in Psalm 147:3 and Jeremiah 30:17.

At the same time we want to gently encourage your heart with what Scripture teaches about beauty and worth, so that your peace does not rest only on outward appearance. The Lord reminds us in 1 Samuel 16:7 that people look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart, and in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and in 1 Peter 3:3-4 that our beauty should not be merely outward but the hidden person of the heart with the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. We also remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit as taught in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and we are called to steward them with care, with rest, nourishment, and wisdom, trusting God rather than living in constant anxiety.

We lovingly rebuke the spirit of fear and obsessive anxiety that can take hold when we focus without rest on every flaw, for God does not want you to be tormented. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, and in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us. We pray that you will find release from the need to examine and re-examine every detail, and instead rest in the Father's love for you as His child.

So we pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring our dear one before You and we ask for Your merciful touch upon their whole body. Lord, You formed us and You know every cell of our skin and eyes and every part of our frame. We ask that You would bring healing and relief according to Your perfect will, that You would soothe all irritation, dryness, sensitivity and allergy, calm all itching and stinging in the eyes, restore health to the skin, and bring comfort and wholeness. We ask for Your healing hand upon every scar, mark, line and blemish that causes distress, and we pray for health and strength in the body, for freedom from bloating and discomfort, and for renewed vitality. We pray as in 3 John 1:2 that our loved one may prosper and be in good health, even as their soul prospers.

Lord, we also pray for deep inner peace and for a renewed mind. Help our dear one to see themselves as You see them, beloved, precious, and wonderfully made, and to find their identity and confidence in Christ rather than in fleeting outward perfection. Grant them restful sleep, freedom from striving, and the assurance that You are working all things for good for those who love You as promised in Romans 8:28. Teach them to steward their body with gentle care, with healthy habits, adequate rest and hydration, and with wise counsel when needed, all while trusting You as the ultimate Healer. Let Your peace guard their heart and let them know that even as we ask for healing now, our complete and permanent perfection will be fully realized when we are with You in eternity as described in Revelation 21:4.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayer because we come in the name of Jesus. We trust Your goodness, Your timing, and Your will, and we ask all these things with thanksgiving, believing that You love us and are near to all who call upon You. Amen.

We've read your prayer and hear the urgency and exhaustion in it. Carrying so many concerns about your face, skin, eyes and body all together can feel overwhelming, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

It's understandable to long to look and feel more at ease. At the same time we know how painful it can be when our attention gets fixed on every detail we wish were different. Our value before God isn't measured by flawless skin or a perfect appearance, even while He cares deeply about the distress you feel.

Alongside prayer, it would be good to share these ongoing skin and eye concerns with a trusted doctor or dermatologist who can listen, assess kindly and guide you on next steps. You don't have to sort through all of this alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the weariness and the longing for relief. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for comfort in moments of worry, for wisdom for any clinicians they see, and for help to experience their worth as Your beloved child. We ask for Your healing and care according to Your will, and for rest from the burden of constantly checking and hoping. Amen.

The earnestness and heaviness of your prayer has been heard, and I perceive in it a soul greatly burdened and anxious about the body. You have poured out many particulars concerning skin and form and eyes, and the very repetition of your plea shows how deep the distress has become.

Permit me to speak to you as the Scriptures speak. Many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul. The feeding and clothing and keeping of the physical frame engrosses much care, but the supply of spiritual food is often neglected. Yet you yourself are better than your body. Your immortal soul is worth far more than that poor carcass which will soon perish, and all that belongs to outward appearance, what is it compared with your inner self, your heart, your soul, your spirit? As for your body, do what you may with it, it is yet under the sentence that it is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness for those who are in Christ. The regeneration of the body takes place at the resurrection, when it shall be raised in power and fashioned like unto His glorious body. Till then we that are in this body do groan, being burdened.

I also mark in your words that anxiety which unfits you to meet the difficulty itself. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty, unfits you to meet that difficulty? To tell it to the Lord is right and good, but if your anxiety is confined to yourself, turning over and over within your own thoughts, no good will come of that. You must bring it to Christ in faith, not merely to yourself.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. When I see my Lord bearing sins in His own body on the cross and blotting out faults forever by His death, then pardon and healing are seen to be one. Jesus knew what really ailed men, that they were palsied in spirit as well as in body, and He removed the root of disease by forgiving sin. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul with healing in His wings, that soul has no longer need to say, I am sick, for it knows itself forgiven and beloved.

Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each may receive injury. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician. But the wounds of the soul are deeper. A self righteous heart feels no need to weep, but a broken heart knows its need and finds that Christ heals the broken in heart. He hears sad complaints and pities those overwhelmed with shame.

Therefore I would point you away from looking only upon outward blemishes to look upon Christ. In proportion as we live near to God we feel our true need, which is not first a fairer skin but a cleansed heart. Take care that in keeping the vineyards of outward care you do not neglect your own vineyard, your soul. Seek first that you are forgiven, that you are washed in His blood, that you are renewed in the image of His perfect self.

Let us pray together not as demanding that God must do according to our exact pattern and timetable, but as trusting His wise and loving will.

O Lord, look upon this anxious one who feels so afflicted in body and so wearied in spirit. Forgive sin for Jesus sake and speak pardon to the heart, for pardon and healing are from Thy one hand. Give peace to this troubled mind and lift the burden of constant anxiety. Help this soul to cast all care upon Thee, for Thou carest for Thy children. Grant such health of body as in Thy wisdom is best, and grant above all health of soul, contentment, patience and trust in Thy goodness. Teach to seek first the ornaments of holiness and to wait in hope for that day when Thou shalt make all things new and clothe Thy people with incorruption. May the healing leaves of Christ be applied to the spirit now, and may there be a quiet resting in Thy love through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Seek the Lord Himself more than any change in the flesh, and you shall find that to be near Him is to be healed in the deepest and most lasting sense.

Your urgent prayer has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with care and compassion. We understand how deeply you feel distress about your face, your skin, your eyes and your body, and how earnestly you desire relief and healing. God sees and knows the burden you carry, and He invites you to cast your cares upon Him.

We have prayed for you that the Lord in His mercy would touch your body and bring healing according to His good will. We asked Him to ease the discomfort in your eyes, the dryness and itching and stinging and tiredness, to calm the skin allergies and sensitivity, and to bring health and comfort to your skin. We prayed for your overall health and strength, and for His grace to sustain you in body and soul.

As we pray for healing, we also remember how the Lord Jesus showed compassion on the multitude and healed those who were suffering, and how He still cares for both body and soul. Scripture teaches us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. This reminds us that our bodies are not our own but are given by God to be cared for and offered to Him in faith and obedience. He clothes us with light when we walk with Him, and His desire is to form Christ within us, so that even as we seek relief for outward afflictions, we also grow in inward renewal and peace.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily through prayer and through hearing His Word, trusting that He hears you even now and that He will answer in the way that is best for you. If these physical concerns continue to cause pain or distress, it is also good to seek wise medical care as a means through which God often brings healing.

We prayed for you in this way:

Heavenly Father, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know every detail of this body which You have formed. We ask for Your healing touch where there is discomfort and distress, for relief from eye irritation and skin trouble, for health and strength, and above all for peace of heart and mind. Help this dear one to know Your love more deeply, to rest in Your care, and to see the beauty You give to those who are Yours, a beauty that grows from within through Christ. Grant comfort, grant patience, and grant confidence in Your goodness, and let Your will be done in this life for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

May the Lord grant you rest from anxiety, assurance of His presence, and grace to trust Him day by day. We will continue to keep you in prayer.
