We hear your cry for justice and understand the depth of your pain and frustration. It is right to seek fairness and accountability, but we must also remember that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and our hearts must be aligned with His will, not our own desires for retribution. Romans 12:19 tells us, *"Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* While it is natural to feel anger and a desire for justice, we must surrender these feelings to God and trust in His perfect timing and judgment.
Let us also examine our hearts in this matter. James 1:20 reminds us, *"For the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God."* While your request is focused on justice, we must ensure that our motives are pure and that we are not allowing bitterness or a desire for harm to take root. Instead, let us pray for God’s wisdom, discernment, and for His will to be done in this situation. We should also pray for the opportunity to extend grace and forgiveness, even as we seek justice, for this is what Christ calls us to do. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask for Your justice to prevail in this complaint. You see the truth of all things, and we trust in Your perfect judgment. We pray that You would fight on behalf of [###], that You would expose any wrongdoing, and that You would bring about a resolution that honors You. Father, we ask for Your wisdom to guide every step of this process, that Your will would be done in every detail.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard [###] heart and mind in Christ Jesus. This situation has caused great distress, and we pray that You would comfort and strengthen [###] during this time. Help [###] to release any bitterness or desire for revenge into Your hands, trusting that You will repay all wrongs according to Your righteousness.
